When discussing the merits of DFH's Oak-Aged Vanilla WW Stout, I made a joke to some friends about mixing it with 120 min to make "Blackout & Tans"

Guess what we're doing tonight? Tomorrow morning is gonna be a tough one

Let us know how it is for science. I have a couple older 120 mins to bust out eventually.

120 Min is disgusting. Ameraves Ameraves and I got to try some at a tap takeover in SF and both of us agreed. Pennsylvania Tuxedo is the jam though. Found some of that just last week in SF and I was amped.

If you drink it expecting an IPA, you'll definitely be disoriented. 120 is a lot more like a brandy than a beer IMO

Yeah, I was not at all happy with it. It may have been because I had high hopes because I love their 90 minute so much. Also, fuck you for finding Tuxedo and not telling me. I can't find it anywhere

This is probably accurate. I was fully expecting a bigger 90 minute, and that is not at all what you get.

I absolutely love the 120, but I was surprised by how malty and sweet it was. I was expecting something more towards a DIPA with the amount of dry hopping it got.

I was down in the SLO area this weekend and Libertine Brewing had the Modern Times Ghost Train on tap. So damn good. Actually it was an overall A-grade beer experience this weekend. Central Coast Brewing is doing some great things down there and I had some above average brews at BarrelHouse as well. Plus my buddy had a bunch of rare barrel-aged stuff to share.

LOL 120 minute is a barleywine that's mislabeled. SO MUCH closer to Bigfoot than an "ipa".

Went back to Veil Brewing in Richmond for the second time... that place is legit. I wish I could ship it home.

I didn't try it while I was there, but Perrin's cherry IPA is supposed to be good. I had the blackberry IPA which was fantastic.

That's a must-visit whenever business takes me to Orange County.

I'm going to Barebottle later today and I'm excited. Every beer I've tried has been excellent. Place has potential to be my new favorite brewery in San Francisco.

I bought the Anchor Steam Christmas ale for Christmas eve and Breckenridge Christmas ale for Christmas day. Both yum, but I liked the Breckenridge better...it was malty.

I really like the Breckenridge salted caramel brown ale they have in their winter samplers too.

Went shopping last week for my grandfathers Christmas present and bought every type of Leffe available, twice. The owner of the beer shop gave me a Viswijf (Viswijf) to try and it was nice and hoppy, tastes somewhat like a less strong duvel tripel hop (citra).
