Pats are going to destroy Pittsburgh now.
The funny thing is I think that game is absolutely must win for Pittsburgh. No way they come into New England in January and win.

yeah barring a loss to bad teams for either in weeks 16 or 17 (Pats have Buffalo and NYJ at home, Steelers have @Houston and then Cleveland at home) next weekend decides the #1 seed

That game against the Pats is the key one for Buffalo. They need to win out (think they have Miami twice and the Pats), and hope Baltimore loses another game (Cincy would be most likely possibility).

I guess the NFL owners are to incompotent to find a better CEO to run the NFL at 50 million a year. Get someone in there that has some real vision and savvy and really make some money. Instead we are going to keep the guy thats overseeing the start of your decline.

What is up with this fucking horrible camera angles on this game they keep using

Ya I kept wondering why every week the announcers would parrot: "He cut left, then right, this is like a fucking video game !!!1!"

Then I saw an announcement where the league will pull in millennial viewers by showing Thursday games from a "Madden-video-game-camera-angle" so I rolled my eyes and facepalmed at the same time.

Need a W this Sunday. I don't want to have to hope Seattle loses one and we win out for the division after the season we've had.

They need to get rid of Thursday football. I didn't even watch last night. Other than Thanksgiving and maybe the season opener, they are 99% dud teams with bad uniform marketing.

I mean, this week I completely agree with you. However, last week was Falcons Saints, in which the Falcons won to actually take one back from the next place NFC team... THE SAINTS. There have been good games on Thursday night. That being said I agree - fuck having to tune in Thursday night.

I liked the overhead angle. You get to see the field the way the qb/rb sees it. It was especially interesting to see the holes open and close on running plays.

I agree for running plays it's pretty cool, and even the occasional over the middle throw. What I don't love is when it's a deep post route, or an end zone corner throw. Maybe I'll adjust but I like to be able to see the coverage from the armchair coach seat, not the QB.

this angle has always been avail but not shown, but when the pats played whomever it was and the fog rolled in, they used that view so you could see the game, and people liked it, i liked the view too.. game felt to me more "real"

I like it as long as they don't zoom in too much. Sometimes I feel like they miss the action on the far outside or high up top and that's a big deal when there's a screen or deep throw.

They do seem to have improved it some since they started doing this at the start of the season, though.

Should let Romo do the camera work as well since he knows all the playcalls. He'd know when to zoom in, when to zoom out, where to pan, etc.

The standard view is good for low football knowledge people that need a cameraman to tell them where to look all the time.
