I hope this is true. Legos are making ALOT of people have a hard time to join groups. They are requiring certain legos with a minimum of 940 ilvl to do normal Ant raid.... Also do you have have a link?

Today's PTR update includes a new method for acquiring Legendary items: the Purified Titan Essence. This item can be purchased from Arcanomancer Vridiel in Dalaran in exchange for 175 Wakening Essences.

When used, the Purified Titan Essence will immediately grant a Legion Legendary item appropriate for your specialization. Note that this item is bind on pickup, and that the Legendary item granted by the Purified Titan Essence does not affect your chance to earn a Legendary through other methods.

Additionally, the Awoken Titan Essence used to upgrade Legendary items to item level 1000 is now sold by Arcanomancer Vridiel as a vendor item, rather than as a quest reward, for the same total cost (50 Wakening Essences). The quest will no longer be offered, but can be turned in if your character already has it active.

Now is a great time to come on to WoW and join us and progress through content.

We have probably 6-9 months till Battle for Azeroth to level up toon and gather gear.

Fires of Heaven East Coast team is currently progressing through Mythic and we are hoping to start a West Coast team to start normal progression soon.

With this Legendary change, you should be able to get a guaranteed Lego almost every week. With T21 Raid boss, M+ chest, Emissary, Daily Heroic and the PVP Weekly you should be getting about 175 Wakening Essences a week.

You haven't learned by now that you aren't allowed to play the game except the way they intend you to?

Anecdotal but reminds me of how ffxi handled it. Ninja class was released as a dps class with strong evasion techniques. You could have one subjob and if you used warrior you have provoke available. People turned ninja into a tank class on their own and the devs never nerfed it. It ended up being the end game tank along with paladin.

Imo that's how you handle stuff like alternate playstyles

League of Legends might be the reigning king of "we want to support emergent gameplay BUT nerf nerf nerf"

Just doing a normal ToS/emissary/daily heroic you can get ~125 titan essences per week so 170 for the item isn't terrible and since it doesn't impact getting them from other sources you should be able to get 3 legos every 2 weeks if you push lfr's.

Over the holidays i spent time in NC and MO, and the parents and in-laws - both with shit internet. I couldn't really raid and not really a lot to do so i spent the time farming normal Argus invasions every 5-6 hours or whenever they spawn i got insanely lucky on the rogue and got 5 legos in less than 2 weeks, this was not the case on the DH. after 48 invasions i finally got lego dps boots to drop...yep i hate everything. just doing raids from now on, that was a tremendous waste of time.

Any tips on M doggies for BRM? Feel like I'm getting trucked during the movement on fire

use class ring of you have it DH + MV is good
Spec MV if you don't have ring

Make sure your tanking the right dog with the same debuff

Call for CDs at 5-6 stacks

Make sure to swap dogs during their long casts when the tank debuff swaps (50%)

What's a sim?

Dogs are hard to tank on the BrM and just because you die doesn't mean you did something wrong. The Math is just not in your favor, and it highly depends on the healers.

the fire dog is easier to tank than the shadow dog, the dot usually gets higher on fire but the shadow one does more damage. the shadow dog's slash with MV hits for around 6-7 million. you need to be topped off higher than that at all times, also factor in that you have a dot ticking fairly hard and stagger ticking as well.

Well I finally started playing again. Should be a fun week or two trying to get my ilvl back to a spot where people don't instantly decline group requests.

Any good way for me to get my ilvl from 936 to 955 quickly?

M+15s drop 940. Weekly chest is a 955? High TFs from it as well.

World bosses on Argus are only 930, but chance to WF/TF up.

Other than that, your only upgrade path would be to fish for WF/TF from Antorus Normal (930+. Maybe get some tier pieces, depending on class/spec, they are worth a lower item level) until you can get into a Heroic Antorus group (945+).

Depending on your class/spec, you will also always get automatic group declines.

Normal usually requires 940+ and aotc

We typically do an alt run of normal antorus on tuesday, @BoozeCube runs it but I'm sure you're more than welcome. You're not a retard so shouldn't be a problem.
