Hasn't it been similarly multiple weeks the last couple anniversaries? I meant to imply it as multiple weeks when I initially stated the realization a while back.

But yea, praise Gaben that I can skip out on the initial rush and still take advantage on week 2 or so - since I'll be playing there secondary to Phinigel, especially in Classic/Kunark where leveling is a few days, then lots of sitting on my hands waiting - since I really don't enjoy raiding hard for stuff until gear has longevity.

They really fucked over the latecomers to VT on Agnarr. That zone has damned near triple the amount of trash that it should. The traps should be removed, and the double/triple? popping mobs should have that script removed. I have no issue with needing to kill all the bosses for a crack at AHR, but those clear times for 40-50 man guilds are just fucking insane with the current mechanics.

We got the same "bug" that we couldn't stay in the click up room for mini-aten without getting banished after clearing the path up (but only one side).

We cleared it with 50ish last night in like 5hours and 30 minutes. We were missing several monks and rangers for DPS oomph, but we're already super well geared. I can't imagine a 40-50man guild in their 2nd or 3rd week in VT being able to clear it under 6 hours. Honestly if they just scaled down some of the boss health like 25%-35% that would help tremendously. Allows less stress on poorly geared tanks/healers and allows you to use less warrior defensives.

I think with a full clear we got like, 5ish pieces of trash loot? Shaded Amice, bane 1hs, bane 1hb, gorget of superiority, and maybe one more piece I forgot. That's pretty sucky for killing 200 mobs or whatever amount we did. Though, some of the pieces like the multi slot items and that gorget are really, really good.

People that fled to Coirnav and now coming back? Been seeing similar on Phin - our kronos spiked to 80k for a bit, already back down to 63k barely over pre-Coir spike.

We did our VT instance last night and killed AHR with an /uptime of 2 hours 34 minutes. Not sure if we can do it any faster, but there is hope for semi speedy runs.
