#1 vs #7. Wonderboy is cleaning out the division without being champ on a fight night, shame. Woodley is playing the game right.

Where are Dillashaw and No Love?

TJ and camp are still wanting fight with mighty mouse
dana was talking like TJ should have a fight before DJ comes back
DJ says he wants the fight, but has to get paid

i like DJ and TJ, but don't think it would really be a superfight or much of a draw

=

Bisping reportedly wants to fight Rashad as his last fight
lol

Thought Evans was going back to 205. I'm with you on TJ/DJ not being a superfight. Brunson has been campaigning for that one...maybe he'll get it maybe not. Even though Till is ranked #7, he is still a top contender. I'm kind of glad that they consider top 10 guys as contenders. I still want Wonderboy to win, but don't write off Till just because the number they have beside his name. Not knocking your post but WW is pretty deep.

Thompson is the ultimate gatekeeper, so Till is lucky he'll be able to see exactly where his current skill level stands.

I'm still reeling how Thompson neutralized Masvidal.

Exactly. TJ is too busy trying to get a fight to fight. Come on. You're the champ, defend the belt. I want to see Cody trash somebody.

Mighty Mouse deserves to get paid but the UFC doesn't care. He can step up to market himself and take on TJ or he can quietly be the nice guy dominating a division no one cares about. Do we know how much longer his current contract goes for? It's like all he does is care about winning until all of a sudden he wants to get paid. His fighting performances are incredible but if he did just a little marketing he'd help himself out so much, my brain does not compute.

DJ-TJ could be a great showcase of the sport as a co-main with a big draw at the top. I agree that it wouldn't be a superfight in terms of $ but champ vs champ is totally where the hype is right now.

FFS!!! I always get my hopes up for that fight so I shouldn't be as disappointed as I am but fuck! Looks like kicking steel posts isn't the best way to train.

Fuck!!

So if Holloway wins he will be a double belt holder which sets up the fight with Conor having done the same thing. All that while the 145 belt sits on the shelf for a period of time. I know Max likes to stay busy so it might not sit for too long but man it sucks to have multiple belts just sitting there collecting dust. Not saying Max will win but that kid is good. Still pissed about Tony but this is an interesting alternative.

Edit: If Max wins and they do set up the Conor fight which I believe they will, what happens to Ortega at 145?

If this isn't a joke, then the draw of the card becomes Thug Rose's defense. Max might not make it out alive. I guess if the impossible happened, Halloway vs McGregor for TWO belts would be fun to sell to fans.

I can't believe it.

But if it is true, here's my prediction:

Tony 100 - Max 0. Traditional MMA scoring be damned.

ufc.com odds
+350 Holloway
-450 Nurmagomedov

another site has
+365/-505
there is no way tiny man holloway has a chance in hell if khabib makes weight and doesn't faint. khabib blows up to 200lbs, while this will be holloways first LW fight, where he's a legit FW. Two times, it took him 3 rounds each time to put away Aldo w/ his pillowfists... Khabib is gonna bear fuck him.
