They're fixing the main thing that was stupid about her which was her shield bash hitbox, so it won't be as frustrating to play against her anymore. I swear I would play things like tracer and try to bait out her bash, knowing full well I had dodged it just to get hit 90 degrees from the front of her hitbox.

Strange changes for sure, and yes. Also the ramp for easy access to upper on the right side of point (if on point A looking out to attacking team's spawn). A few LOS changes through the center. I think they want to promote more dynamic defenses then just standing on the point. Course I don't know the proper way to defend that map. Very unfamiliar with this and Blizzard World in terms of what's meta setup.
Also I can't say for sure but it looks like spawn has longer run by a little, and the took out the upper walkway on the left side of point B (if on point looking toward attacker's direction). Overall looks like point A is easier to assault and point B is harder.

So season 9 is almost over, just a few days left. I'm not going to play since I'm at only 2509 and don't want to lose platinum for the golden weapons points.
All in all, my least played season by far with about 12 or so hours only. Started around 2600, went up to 2800 and finally down to 2509 so a very disappointing season.
I did play about 20 hours of QP and PTR for Brigitte, and some Mystery Heroes, but still that's a fraction of what I usually play.
I am either just tired of the game after 2 years of playing it and nothing will improve that, or getting tired of how stagnant the game is, Blizzard development is too slow. Hero and map release is too slow...and no new map mode in 2 years...still only Control, Assault, Escort and Hybrid?
It doesn't help that I also hate Blizzard World and I seem to be getting it all the time which sucks. Not sure if it's just bad luck, or it has a higher chance of being in the rotation...or just perception because I hate it so much.
I hope that Brigitte, and all the balance change they did recently like D'va and Zen nerfs, Mei and Reaper buffs, new Hanzo, and the other changes on the PTR right now will invigorate the game a bit.

Even if you derank from plat you'll still get plat rewards at end of season, its highest obtained.
Would expect things to change a lot in s10 with hero changes + brigg. Blizz world is getting "fixed" too man what a shithole map. Same with horizon. Still find myself playing every night dunno why. Nothing better to do apparently.
This season I started off Sombra and quit when after a bunch of hours (and the nerf) I was still at 50% winrate and went back to tanks. I think s10 gonna lock Doomfist for a while. His fixes/buffs makes him pretty interesting and he's a very easy brigg healing target.

I didn't know it was based on highest obtained since I always finished a season at my highest rank.
I'm still going to take a break, end of season are always bad anyways. It seems you have a lot people not giving a shit because they won't meet their goals.

Yeah, that's what I do. I forgot to do it last season though, I think. Honestly I've gotten all the gold weapons I wanted and I think I only have 3. I'd rather spam Briget in QP or play Mystery Heroes all day than listen to an Attack Hanzo in comp tell me to play Zen over Ana nonstop.

Bridgette + Moira say on a point/smallish area just create an enormous amount of inertia in terms of dmg + healing that is almost impossible to stop.
We had a game the other day, Fought our way to last Hanamura point. Popped Bridgette ult, Heal orb on point. basically even when genji popped his ult and i tried a coalescence in part to kill him/heal our guys no one even got close to low hp.

Yeah it really is a complete cesspit, at all ranks, except maybe bronze. Toxic as fuck. I honestly think it would make for a really interesting experiment just how deluded some people are. I think though the thing that really tilts me the most are those people who type gg, or get really abusive even BEFORE the game starts, just the weakest mentality. Ive had people refusing to heal me, tell me theyre going to throw, verbal abuse etc, why on earth would you expect your team mates to TRY to win if you're being so fucking shitty towards them.
Anyway, if any of you are actually stuck in bronze/silver, as someone who has fucked around and climbed out a load of times now, if you want some quick tips then:
disable voice/chat completely
ignore and dont be part of this 2-2-2 shit. A lot of the time forcing people to play garbage healers they aren't good at just leads to more losses and a tilted team. Most healers at this rank just try to dps anyway, don't pre-empt incoming damage or don't react fast enough to heal through burst, and legit are probably better just playing a dps
play dva and learn how to press E and fly into someone overextending/squishy and melee too. Bonus points for matrixing ults or your team mates ulting

I'm kind of proud to say I'm a Sym main that usually floats around 2700-3300 SR. It depends, on a wildly variant basis, how cooperative my teams as to whether we succeed.
At this point, I've been through so many seasons and so much abuse that I just don't give a shit anymore.
For the most part, I play the game for the Sym play style and don't really care what people think of it or whether my team wants to (unfairly) rail against her as a hero pick. She's completely unique to Overwatch and offers a gameplay experience unlike anything in any other game.
I'm somewhat nervous about whatever upcoming changes they implement for her, as they might result in a watered down version of her that's more in line with what the core audience of OW wants - which could potentially be very sad to see.
