There is a dominoes near me that is a very independent franchise which, apparently, is still using the old old OLD recipe / ingredient sourcing from back in the 90s. Someone brought Dominoes to a gathering and we all gave them a caustic glare until we tried a slice and it was, astonishingly, very tasty. It even looked like the 80s/90s era dominoes.

oh snap, looked into it, and i didn't realize they're adding a new sauce to the menu with these.... apparently the Wild one has "wild sauce" on it which is a "smoky hot sauce"

the classic one with the avocado ranch is still available, called the Mild Naked Chicken Chalupa

one called Mild one called Wild. as a former Taco Bell drive thru worker, i think that's going to be infuriating for whoever is taking the orders, haha. going to have to ask so many people to repeat themselves.

Just had the "new, fresh" double quarter pounder. Tastes the exact same. The patties might actually be bigger now that they don't store them the same way. So they might actually be close to 1/4 lb AFTER cooking now. They're kinda like 5 Guys patties in look and texture. The only downside is the bun may be smaller which means less onions. I'm a big onion guy. Either way I liked the double quarter pounders before and they're basically the same thing now.

The large fries I got were fucking perfect, too. They fucking overfilled the shit out of it. Full large fry and like 1/2 a fry box in the bottom of the bag. God is real.

I actually think the new patties are better in texture and not as dry. They still have the same taste though, it's not like they were using preservatives or anything on them before so it shouldn't be a huge difference in that area. I also always asked for extra slivered onions since they don't charge you for it anyway.

I think the whole "never frozen" thing was just some marketing horseshit that Wendy's came up with and McDonald's just decided to play along. Freezing ground beef doesn't hurt it at all as far as I can tell.

Sadly like chicken biscuits, I dont think we have bagels at our mcdonalds, Fuck....

Anyone know if their 2 for 4 breakfast sandwhich is only the 3 pictured, it is worded so it almost seems that way, or is it just any 2 biscuit, mcgriddle, english muffin. (I prefer sausage to the bacon options)

Also plan on trying their new 1/4lb for science and work on this consensus here.

i'm a double QP connesour and even though I still love them I think unfrozen brought em from a solid 10 to a solid 9.9. Seems like it's missing just the minutia of funk that it use to have and I loved. If I want a fast food burger to taste like a burger i'll go to in and out.

do premixed storebought smoothies count as fast food? been drinking a ton of these lately

real strawberries, yogurt, and granola, blended up. tastes so damn good. the granola really gives it this full taste that i haven't tasted from other similar products. plus they load it with some extra protein, a bunch of vitamins / minerals, and 40% daily fiber per bottle.

but it's more delicious than a Snickers :p not necessarily drinking it for health reasons, tho it does have way more minerals, vitamins, protein, and fiber than the snickers (the nutrition facts on that site are incomplete)... it's sweetened with cane sugar and brown sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup like many drinks... and no preservatives unlike the Muscle Milk or the Snickers

heck, i just looked at the ingredients for that Muscle Milk and:

Water, Milk Protein Isolate, Calcium Sodium Caseinate, Less than 1% of: Alkalized Cocoa Powder, Maltodextrin, Inulin, Natural and Artifical Flavors, Dipotassium Phosphate...

rest is vitamins / minerals / preservatives.

99% of that is water, protein isolate, and calcium sodium caseinate. the smoothie i linked is made with real strawberries, real yogurt, and real granola.

anyway, tl;dr: more to the story than just sugar content.

oh and it keeps me full longer than a snickers (tried both). there's days where i drink two of these and only one actual meal.

Go fucking get one.

I'll stand by my equivocation when it comes down to strait up health, even giving a slight edge to the king sized snickers. But if it's a treat you like more than a large candy bar, more power to you.

I've had a few of the Sourdough Kings because I really like the bread, but I always ask them to go easy on the sauce. They call it "tomato pepper sauce," and now that you mention it I bet it does taste better on chicken. Thanks for the heads up!
