Good to hear! Must have been a lucky bus, to put you on that side, hah!
The 20v5 mode is pretty fun, but people still refuse to res teammates.

I wanted to highlight my Salty Start from Thursday when I was trying to do the chest challenge, one of my craziest starts to a game:


Ended with 9 kills and died to storm in 6th place... had 3 full meds when I died, completely dumb move. Storm was ticking 2 then closed and started ticking 5, and I was a few seconds from the line, just complete mis-management of the circle.

The most recent balance changes are real nice. I find it less important to have dual shotguns now. I really like the dual pistols.. SMG is a good choice now too. I'm going Tact+SMG or Tact+Pistols as my main close combat weaponry. Of course double Tact/Heavy/Pump are still good too, but so boring. The SMG is good in build fights if you lack explosives.

Season 5 begins July 12th, which means a new battlepass and most likely some big map changes, just like how Season 4 blew up Dusty Depot and added a ton of new areas. I think the changing map is the thing I love most.

Speculation has the Rocket blowing up Wailing or Moisty. I'd like to see a lot more development in the Tomoto Town / Anarchy Fields areas to counter Tilted. Also the huge area south of Retail seems really wasted. In fact the Western part of the map is so much better developed than the Eastern sides.


Double XP weekend until Monday. Level 80 unlocks the Lights for Omega, I'm @74 right now, should have no problem getting there. If you're just getting into the game you should probably hold off on the Battle pass until Season 5 at this point.

I can see the S5 Battle Pass purchases pushing July to having a huge revenue boost. Will FortNite surpass $400 million for July maybe? Would be absolutely nuts.



I hate that all the LTMs keep going down. Sandbox mode has been down since 2hrs after it was out, I really want to spend some time honing in on some problem areas.

Also they are bringing back 50v50 to replace the 12v5 mode and 50v50 has an issue already. New 50v50 mode has increased dual pistol drops & bounce pads. Both things I want to practice with, and dual pistols are just so fun. 12v5 was kinda shit... just a luck fest really.
