I think an AH in the form of D3 or various MMOs would be terrible for the game in the long run. They had a manifesto at some point about how they see trade, was pretty interesting to read. They considering searching for items too easy now, and the only obstacle now is the human factor in the transaction at the end. They aren't going to ease that without putting other hurdles up, I guess. Tbh I would be fine with making me jump through other hoops if it gets rid of having to text a dozen people for simple shit or wading through obvious scam offers all the time.

I've always thought that a little automated shop for bulk item exchange would be pretty cool. You go to their hideout and "buy" it from a vendor. Then you can keep all the other stuff trade only. It keeps the hideout interaction the same and gets rid of the hassle and price fixing that is so common on bulk item exchanges.

Question: Got elder influence on guardians and have the T16 elder guardians. But I've kind of run out of currency to get the maps. I'm wondering if I chain a bunch of shaped maps on my MF build (no where near the influence) will it despawn the elder influence? Or do you actually have to run elder and shaper influence maps for elder to despawn? I've looked everywhere for this and can't find a clear answer.

You can run 20maps before they despawn. It probably counts the guardians themselves, so 15 really(then 4 guardians, then you should be able to do uber elder). I wouldn't run too many, sell some red maps to pay for the guardians?

Uber Elder is pretty rough though, I wouldn't bother spending currency on it if you don't have enough to buy a few sets to try it a bunch of times in a row and learn the fight. When I did it last week it was about 70chaos per set or so I think?

Yea that's a good idea on selling maps. Probably have multiple exalts liquidable in there. I'll have two sets going into it. I have around 8k ehp and a taste of hate which I think helps a bit. I know this build is able just a question if i can do mechanics. Also would acrobatics and phase be worth speccing into and losing about 500 raw hp?

Not just you. I'm super slow. I play a lot and just hit lvl 90. I die. I get to a lvl and do all the risky stuff so that if I die it doesn't matter. When I get bored of that I lvl up and be more conservative. Getting past lvl 90 is not all that common I don't think.

In the Vaal Omnitect fight what is the black goo that spreads from him all over the room that I can't avoid, and how do you avoid it? I can't leap far enough to clear I would have to go from corner to corner and it looks like it covers the entire room and it will one shot my 6k of life at lvl 75 temple. Looked it up and the waves are purple (I'm colorblind). Before I always just avoided them by jumping over it. Does chaos damage. This time it spread rapidly and took up the entire room and I couldn't jump over with leap and couldn't get away fast enough with flame dash. Not that I could see where to go, covered entire floor this time.

Edit - sold 1 EX this morning for 183C. I made the joke yesterday of selling when it hit 200C which should be Thursday lol.

Death is PoE unless you play with support 24/7 and do easier content. I am on my 3rd death in 99 and like 60th overall, last 100 I died only once the entire time. This game literally tries to kill you as hard as it can and in every way possible.

Penance Uber Elder is practice, I'd do the shaper once or twice more to get his mechanics and timings down and then try Uber Elder. This will help you learn the Uber Elder fight below
After Uber Elder you can practice Uber Atziri, if you dont have DPS capable of one shotting her stages she is by miles the deadliest encounter in the game. Plus her 3 generals before her are part of the challenge, I was able to do it by running Uber 3 times and got some good loot to sell.

So I got my first raw Exalt drop in this league this AM running a map before heading into the office. Exalts are over 180? What in the shit? Am I rich?
