So I'm finally looking at the BfA profession changes and all I can say is.... what the fuck are they thinking with this scrapper and expulsom shit? It's going to be exploited to hell and back in the first few weeks while people figure out a way to cheaply scrap crafted gear for profit and unlimited expulsom then it will be nerfed into irrelevance to compensate. Obliterum forge all over again.

As it stands right now there is no good reason to do anything but farm mobs over gathering professions because you'll get gold + cloth + drops which you can then send to whatever character you want your expulsom on, scrap on that toon, and get the expulsom + tradeable raw materials. So they will massively nerf scrapper yield and add expulsom to all gathering professions + disenchanting once they realize "herp derp this wasn't a good idea for professions!"

It is this expansions version of obliterum. I am kinda meh on it I am sure that shit winds up on WQ and other options like it did in legion soon enough. Early on if you want to make money the big money still likely is in harvesting and selling harvested shit anyway. People with assloads of money wanting to power level their crafting shit will pay stupid prices for things.

I'm not saying the materials won't sell. I'm just saying that farming mobs for scrap materials will have a much better yield (if you also need expulsom for your own crafting) than gathering.

Maybe not the right place for this, but I was scouring through the old stuff I brought back to Japan on my vacation and I found these.

One seems to be used, the other still has the silver scratching stuff on the back and is pristine

Was surprised to find out they are actually worth something. How does one dispose of one of these without getting ripped off?

Can you ebay them? I'd make sure to mail the card itself though so they can't try to scam you saying the code didn't work. Then you are mailing them a physical item.

Exactly this. You can sell them on eBay and then ship the physical item with delivery confirmation (automatically included on all shipping methods these days) and it should be fine. You can mail them first class in a box for less than three dollars if you don't to just go with an envelope.

I'm now convinced without a doubt, that Sylvanas is going to jebait Jaina into ICC after she agrees to take the crown from Bolvar, by using Taelia to convince Jaina to get there. Except in a MIND BLOWING TWIST, she's going to put the helm of domination on Jaina instead. Thus they'll live as happy lesbian lich queens together forever.

I would bet money that if this whole Lich King plot happens that we will get a cutscene of Sylvannas eavesdropping on the whole Bolivar thing and she knew this entire time. We will see her hidden behind the throne instead of with everyone downstairs.

Alright so I'm not sure what the fuck Blizzard was doing removing Auto-Accept from group finder. Apparently they just removed it from the base UI, they did not remove it from the game. Someone already created an addon that puts Auto-Accept back in the group finder.

They removed it from the game, the way the addon works is that it declines their invite and them automatically /invites their name. Doesn't work with people who join as multiple people together That addon is gonna get killed pretty quick tbh.

I really don't know their reasoning for it. I get they want minimal sharding issues and that's why they stopped allowing automatic group makers but auto accept is so much more useful. Why are you purposely making it difficult to do world quests? I don't get it much.

But hey, I guess if you artificially enforce community interaction it might catch on so what do I know.

So I read the 90 page Horde Short Story, "A Good War" that is supplemental material to BFA. The cinematic don't cover the very key portions of it but otherwise follow it directly (lol). It is well written though.

In game Sylvanas says she want's to kill Malfurion and take Darnassus. This is part of the Grand Strategy to drive a wedge between the Alliance and rob them of hope. The Night Elves would demand Anduin help them retake an unburned Darnassus. Anduin being young and naive would want to say yes. But this would cause him problems because Genn would be all, "WTF bro? We've been waiting FOREVER" and probably the gnomes too. The intent was to cause chaos in the Alliance so they could use the divide and conquer strategy. Because Anduin is young and inexperienced when it comes to dealing with a big fat political mess like that. Giving them more opportunities. Both the Alliance and Horde fleets are FUBAR because of Legion and it would have taken years for the Alliance to even have an opportunity to maybe take Darnassus back.

Saurfang fucked this up because he refused to kill Malfurion. That part is what caused Sylvanas to burn the tree because it was the only way to retain a similar effect. Saurfang realizes he fucked up bad and hopes he just dies in battle soon. This would chronologically play right into the Old Soldier cinematic so you understand why he was wanting to just die honorably and call it good because fuck it. Been around war too long.

So that these are all tied together is nice. I just hope the cinematic guys and supplemental authors and shit are actually working with the devs to make a coherent story. Which I somehow doubt.

Horde druids were also not mentioned even once. Glaring oversight.

I'll go read the Alliance one later.

At least in 3 weeks when everyone besides the real players quit the game we can skip lore discussion and go straight to bitching about raid tuning again

Horde druids were sent to assist Magni, notice that none of them are present in the War of Thorns whatsoever. You can find them in Silithus if you fly there right now, even. Except the player.. but well they're not just gonna say druids can't participate lmao.

Also speaking about bitching

I don't know how they managed, but somehow they made prot warrior even more boring than it was

3 weeks isn't enough time for people to do LFR and judge their class balance around how well they do while tabbed out of the game while auto-following a healer.
