That phobos video killed me. It was like watching cairo station, but where everyone is terrified of the chief.
Best part. He sweep kicks that zombie, and then uses a blade on his left arm to cut its head off
Also, you all notice that they are making the weapons and the enemies look closer to their 90s models? Like the imps now have bones stickin out of them, and the plasma rifle now has that sleve from the original?

Yeah. I was bummed when the Spider Mastermind or w/e it's officially called (too lazy to check) was the final boss. I really liked when the Cyberdemons and them were just thrown into levels at almost random in Doom/Doom2 just to fuck up your day. Kinda hoping we get that again. That or a better custom non-snapmap system. I'd love to have someone redo all of the doom/doom2 levels in the new doom engine.

Watched Sargon's reaction vid to doom eternal, and I noticed something I overlooked at first.
Doomguy gets "an extra life" during the gameplay trailer. A bit of a "wait, what?"
PCgamesn, says the 1-up, acts as a death save. "Instead, when you take deadly damage, the screen desaturates and you get a few moments of invulnerability to reposition yourself and get back into the action. "

Just got Doom for 20$ on steam. The way kills and health works is way better than being 100% hp all the time sniping dummy mobs.
The imps are pretty crazy already (climbing walls and throwing 50% HP damage fireballs) might take it down to hurt me plenty till I'm more in the flow. Only died to a moving box I didn't know was coming but i know it's gonna go to psychotown in a hurry once I go deeper.

I just finished the campaign myself when Doom was on sale from the other week and it was very enjoyable on the high difficulty. I think I died a dozen or so times mainly due to my desire to glory kill everything which leaves you vulnerable. Lots of stuff hidden in the maps too if that's your cup of tea. First FPS I've really had fun playing in a while.

I hope to god they don't cave on this and stick to their parody of SJW immigration policy. Game looks fantastic but if they do cave I'm not sure I'll want to support that shit. Past few years I've started trying to talk with my wallet, as that seems to be the only thing that works.
