I'm talking hours of quality content, not just hours spent in-game.The main quest doesn't have that much content. A lot of it is just traveling, loading screen and and figuring out bugs. For example, I spent a couple of hours in the monastery but in reality there is less than 1 hour of quality content for that quest. Even after 40 hours in-game I don't have the impression of having done that much. Also I probably have some AFK time in there.

Expected more for a 60$ sandbox game.

I don't know how many hours it took me to get through KC:D, but I think it was closer to 60-80 hours, and I left a lot of quests unfinished.

I imagine in a year or two when I replay it with mods, it'll be another 200 hours.

Is this okay to get on my PS4 Pro or should this game be PC master raced?

Yeah, really, how many hours do you expect out of a game if 30 hours is short?

30 hours seems decent. Looking at Steam history I finished Skyrim in 20 hours. Just did the main quest and a few sides.

Torment was 25 hours to finish first time on normal.

All the Shadowrun RPGs were 20-30 hours, first time through, on normal difficulty.

Finishing skyrim in 20 hours as a first playthrough seems unfathomable to me. It'd be tough for me to ignore that much of the game and focus on the main story.

But if you go at KCD with the same style, I think 15-20 hours sounds about right. Especially if you spend a half hour or so juicing up by training with Captain Bernard over and over to level your skills.

I was interested in this game but it sounded like there were too many glitchy things. They fix that yet?

Yeah, besides just installing a quick mod for unlimited on-demand saves they patched in a Save & Quit feature that saves your game and dumps you to desktop without any fuss no save potion required. Even then the potions are not hard at all to acquire, and you can also save without them by either using a bathhouse or sleeping in a owned bed.

I didn't notice any other than one NPC I needed to talk to that was stuck upstairs in his loft. I ended up knocking him out and dragging his body downstairs so I could talk to him. I think he was stuck trying to climb on his ladder or something /shrug.

This is 40% off steam today. Would y’all say it’s worth snagging at 38 freedom bucks?

I really liked the game, was totally worth $60 in it's horribly buggy state I played, having to load hours old saves at one point to bypass a bug during the first month. It's more of a Medieval simulator than it is a Skyrim. The dialogue and interaction between characters feels very genuine, people talk like they do in real life and not dripping with cheese like Skyrim dialogue.
