Only thing that beats a good apple fritter is a good cherry fritter.

Meijer (Midwest supermarket chain) makes AWESOME apple fritters for being a supermarket chain, if anyone has one near them and had never tried.

The best cherry fritter I know of is a mom and pop shop here in my small town, so I don't have any tips there.

I've never even seen a cherry fritter, I'm intrigued.

One place here I know does cherry and blueberry, too.

Do we have anyone in Philly? I got sidetracked and found a pic of fritters that look different from what I'm used to

Doctor said I've lost too much weight on keto, so I started eating carbs again. Which means Taco Bell is back on the menu!

So bummed I totally missed the Double Cheesy Gordita Crunch tho. That thing looked awesome.

Still starting slow(ish) with the carbs. That Triple Double Crunchwrap looks like way too many. So I just ordered a Double Decker Taco Supreme (with my perennial favorite add-on, a side of Spicy Ranch).
Not health thread, but you really might consider making them quality carbs.... go enjoy some homemade burritos with whole wheat tortillas or whatever. Start hitting taco bell carbs up and you'll find your weight reversing so fast your head will spin (or just go into full addiction mode once your body gets them again becoming a pasta craving woman.)

Yeah, I don't really post in the cooking thread because the stuff I make is usually pretty boring, but brown rice and black beans are two of my staples. Fast food is just a few times a week thing.

I wasn't real overweight anyway, 6'0" 215lbs before the diet. Down to 175lbs now, looking to put ~10lbs back on.

Try to make it actual muscle weight. Try to even just get yourself to do pushups/situps and maybe good form squats with some weight daily alone will give you surprising results. 60-100/each broken up thru ought the day. Actually pretty similar dimensions, 6'1, last year hit 215-220 ish got down to 200 just from diet, last 5 or so months for new job been hitting gym a day or two a week down to 193 and holding seemingly though shoulders/arms getting defined so at a good place trading belly weight for thigh/shoulder improvements.

Taco Bell used to be my big jam, but I've been off fast food for the most part, just eating out at sit downs with family mostly. I do still read this thread looking longingly at new creations lol.
