Definitely got that PG-13 vibe from the teaser of Venom talking to the convenience store robber about eating his face. This movie's being made for toy sales and targetting grimdark for people too young for Punisher and Deadpool.

They may not be able to use 'venom' however could they potentially use the 'Klyntar' alien race. If the Venom movie can do it without spiderman any future MCU movie could explore the Klyntar race (looking at you GoTG) without actually mentioning venom. Would be interesting to explore symbiotes on other planets aside from Earth.
Part of me wants this to fail and and part me wants this to be awesome. Oh well sounds like we got ourselves a 2003 hulk movie.

Once the social media embargo for “Venom” broke following the superhero movie’s red carpet premiere on Monday night, some Twitter users noticed negative reviews floating around Twitter — but it was noted that many of these critics used the same exact wording.

sucks, i was hoping Predator and Venom would be nice good fall movies but both look like they will end up shitty

In this day and age, what really defines pg13 vs R other than allowance to drop f bombs? Is it mostly blood/gore & nudity?
