You guys are likely in different stages of your life. At 25, and a single mother, she's probably looking for a new dad for her kid. If you started dating this woman, 100% she'd be moving in with her kid and then letting loose. She'll get bored because you go to bed at 8:30PM after watching the history channel and she'll cheat on you.

I can understand that you may have common interests like video games, but you need to think about all the differences between you. There's a healthy amount of differences, and then there's a gaping hole of differences. I just can't imagine, even at only 34, to have much in common with a 25 year old.

At 41 you might need to come to terms that a lot of the women seeking a relationship may have kids. We aren't spring chickens anymore.

Phone situation sounds like bullshit, or actual worse-case scenario. If she's twenties+ and having her fucking phone meted out to her by her parents still, you're not getting into a relationship for two. The moment she starts gunning for commitment the parents would be so far up your ass you might as well be dating them too.

My brother married a woman that was controlled by her parents.. to the tune of she was forced to put all wages into a savings account she couldn't touch and given allowance (at 25+). Even she had her own cell phone.

Just be cautious and I think it'll be alright. She might be into you for some of the wrong reasons, but it sounds like she's also legitimately into you for some of the RIGHT reasons too.

I'm not saying I'm completely sure it's a good idea, definitely be ready to abort, but I don't see that there's enough red flags to not at least look into things a bit further.

She sent a text this morning basically saying she hadn’t dated in awhile and what few guys she considered dating were unsavory. She liked how polite I was and the thought of dating an older guy was nice, but after talking to her mom and really thinking about what she wanted, I wasn’t it.

I thanked her for her honesty and case closed.

Are they all as salty as yours? Don't get me wrong, salty genitals can be just the right kind of savory for the right kind of mood.

It’s all good. She did have a sweet booty on her. But I’m not upset. I could tell she would have been a distraction and I have made a lot of progress towards purchasing a house. I don’t want to mess that up.
