I love that diablo 3, a piece of shit, was released in 2012. Still no d4. In that time, rockstar released gta 5, then 5 years later RDR2. Blizzard has other games blah blah blah all pieces of shit. My point is, there is a TON of talent in this business and none of it works at blizzard anymore.

D3 updates being purchased hasn't been a guarantee for a while now. They waited far too long and other games moved in, then they tried one more grasp for the cash with necro and the last balance patch ever.

They definitely needed to pair something with the mobile bullshit but didn't. So now the whole franchise will suffer.

Well, yes, I suppose this is fair. Perhaps I should have said D2 Remaster and D4 would have been a more guarantee. But D3, for the effort involved, should still turn around well for them. I thought the reason Necromancer was total fail was more to the fact that the amount of content for the price was garbage. But still, there were ways they could have made D3 a guarantee, still. It might require them to really change things up a bit, but for now its, as was said earlier "LOL Enjoy Season 15!"

I dunno. I think I agree with the need to pair the mobile with something else the most. That was certainly important to do, kinda surprised they did not.

Needed to do the Avarice Conquest to get Guardian, did it and now I am think I am done. Was a fun season, I leveled every class to 70, got sets for 3 classes. Spent most my time on the Monk and a fair amount on the DH, got every set for both and finished running GR 82 on my Monk. I know 82 is nothing special, I was just starting to gain traction on my Monk I am sure 90 was in my reach and was planning to push for 100 but FUCK YOU MOBILE!

They killed the entire Diablo brand with that decision. A D4 reveal---even if the game was 4 years away---and a smaller side-reveal of some dumbass mobile co-production with a chinese cashgrab outfit would've been a totally different story.

People would be spending the next week SPECULATING on the new D4 game with zero details given. Everyone would be linking subreddit links to folks picking apart frame-by-frame clues of what classes and settings would be in D4 based on the teaser......and ___NOONE___ would give a shit about their fucking reskinned ching-chong microtransactions assfuck since the exact same amount of people would give a shit about that bullshit then as they do now.

I wouldn't be surprised if maybe that suggestion came up, but was then shot down because they want their fans to focus on the mobile game, not a game that won't be out for years and thus not bringing in $$$$$$$. Basically "If we tell them D4 is in the works, then some fans will hold off on the mobile game and wait for that...so lets just announce the mobile game and they will have no choice but to get the mobile game to get their fix!!1!!!"
