I finished chapter 6 a couple days ago and finished the epilogue just now. I don't have any desire to get an Xbox to play the original, but I wish I had when it was new. I'll probably use this as my "I don't have much time to game, so let me keep progressing towards 100%" game. I'm at rank 10 for lots of the challenges (Survivalist, Herbalist, Horseman) that are just time burners.
Not sure how many side quests I have yet to find, but I think I did almost all of them. Gonna check out a guide/walkthrough to see!

Had a weird glitch when I was chasing the dude with the religious cult. I hit a tree and got back on my horse and he was on the other side of the train. Train wasn't moving and he was just wobblingnaround. Had to ride off and fail the mission and redo it

If you press left on the D-Pad it'll bring up the tasks. Go to the mission you're currently on and it'll give you the chance to abandon. Alternatively, getting yourself killed will let you retry at the checkpoint (which is usually way less time lost than retrying the whole mission).

So I am mildly annoyed.
I got a mission to take pics of 4 famous people so I head towards the location of one. Some other rider comes from straight ahead and then CUTS RIGHT ACROSS ME LINE IN THE LAST MOMENT and we both fall off! Fucker then has the nuts to pull a gun on me. BOOM headshot him and of course there's a fucking witness. Great, headshot the witness too.
Anyway, onwards, to the person I am interested in. She's being harrassed and I have to help defend her home. Great, we win in 3rd try and now I have no idea where the other three people are. Plus I have 15$ bounty in one county and $50 in the other. I seem to also have tried to steal a stagecoach and got shot dead while driving into the side of a house.
Well I'll just ride into town and look for the guy that gave me the mission.
A stranger whistles me to the side and wants me to rob a drawer in the hotel.
I go in, take the cash, get caught, knock the guy out cold, again a fukcing witness. I, of course, shoot the witness.
Bad idea. Can't even jump out a window in this fucking place.
Die.
Lose $8.91 or so

Wow, activity in this thread died off quick.
I never made it past chapter two. I feel guilty because I like the game but the tedium was too much. I switched back to Battlefield 4 for a couple days and then I got AC:Odyssey and Black Ops 4 on a black friday sale and haven't touched RDR2 since. Odyssey is awesome so far, I already regret BO4. I'll get my monies worth out of zombies I guess.

Did you look at the pictures of the other 3? Also you can just run away from the witness and not get a bounty a lot of the time.

Are some of the strangers you come across just there to say something with no mission? I came across some crazy preacher guy twice standing in the river. He just mumbles some crazy shit, then goes sleep on his sleeping bag. The second time I just ended up lighting him on fire as he slept and dumping his body in the river
