Fallout 76

Cheaper than all DLC for fallout 4 combined.

Unlimited carry weight glitch makes the game much funner.

I am kind of getting to that point where I might use that since I want to use PA besides the Excavator lol.

The fuck are you on about? Fucking game is sitting at like 50% metacritic. Googling Fallout 76 right now yields a bunch a tips on how to make the game less intolerable. It's already discounted down to near-half price and you can find piles of unsold copies everywhere. And you're triggered by the fact that the guys here who've spent the past 20 years making fun of pretty much everything are also shitting all over this game?

The amount of crying this game has produced in the fans is amazing. Sorry your dog died.. nah, not really.

I assume that Bethesda will make changes that mollify the fans that are so traumatized by this experience. Don't really see what all the fuss is about myself. But like I said before, was never much of a Fallout fan to begin with. This seems like more of the same to me.

This game is such garbage.

Bugs I've encountered getting to level 20 during nearly every play-session: quests that can't be finished; monsters that can't be killed but that can still shoot you; monsters caught on rocks/trees; random disconnects; invisible companions; lost or missing ammo; items you can't interact with; huge frame drops; random stutters; sound glitches; delayed hits from monsters that are dead; camp items randomly disappearing.

Add on recycled assets, boring/meaningless quests, fucked loot system, perk cards that don't seem to do anything, a lifeless map, arbitrary survival elements (e.g. ammo that weighs but that you cant sell ), inability to create additional storage even if you make new crates, etc.

Even worse than NMSky at launch in my opinion: NMS was emtpy and meaningless but at least it worked in its empty and meaningless way (and is now pretty good).

This game isn't even an alpha release at this point, let alone beta ("feature complete!").

I agree with many of the other issues that have come up lately with other games, etc. And the outrage was / is warrented. But this time around it just seems a bit forced and more of a "Outrage of the Month" thing. Something for the bored to do since the Outrage Train started up last year. Just a convenient stop more than anything else.

I haven't experienced most of those. I'll add the ones I saw in last nights session:
- my groupmate appeared to be wearing just undies every time we were in an indoor zoned area (like vaulttech U)
- monsters disappearing when they die (leaving no corpses = no loot)..
- 5 minute period where all monsters were running super speed, like usain bolt the scorched would tear down the road. it was impossible to shoot them without vats until they stopped moving in melee range
- event quest showing on the map, and the announcements were taking place, but the quest objectives never became interactable

I'm definitely going to employ the infinit carry weight glitch in future sessions, i think it will make the game way more fun if it is easy to reproduce.

Exactly. Because you don't agree with the negative reviews, it's all just an outrage train. How could all these people think differently than you? It must be because they're all sheeple while you know the truth.

I'm not saying people don't jump on positive and negative bandwagons but plenty of people here have given specific reasons for their dislike, people who have bought the game or watched many streams. And yet you just hand wave it away all as mindless hating.

Not at all. If you don't like the game, it's legitimate. I'm just talking about the amount of tears. This game runs just like the other Fallout games. It's clunky, but that's true for all of their games. Why so bent now? It didn't bother anyone before. So they added PvP, I've never been effected by it. It's very tame.

People are crying about a Fallout game that is very much like Fallout 4, but without the NPCs and with co-op.

They did try something different, like the voice com stuff etc and everyone cries. But when a game is an exact clone, everyone cries. Jesus.

Nah, this time around the Outrage Train went off the rails a bit. That's fine, it's your right. But it's my right to laugh at you.

It's not really an exact clone of F4.. a lot of the changes they've made make the game less fun. Like they've added weight to a lot of things that didn't have weight in F4, but also added a cap cost for fast travel, so you need to go to base more often and it's either costly or more time consuming to do it. The lack of NPCs is a bit jarring. I mean I'm only level 13, I went to top of the world and you meet someone who is talking to you through speakers and ordinarily you'd like woo, there's life here! someone survived.. but of course I know better so I just think, the voice must be a robot.

I'm enjoying playing it because it's basically just a social activity to me.. but the carry limit thing is really dragging it down for me.
