Yup the only reason I'm sticking around is I enjoy M+ and enjoy the small group of people I run with. But that is a giant kick in the balls that once again we are at the "raid to be optimal in a timely fashion" stage. Blizzards big thing about M+ this xpac was that you wouldn't need to raid to feel like you were aquiring the gear you need at a good rate and that a huge reason they did away with tier was so M+ players didn't feel the need to raid in order to be optimal. Whelllllp.

The 400 and 415 gear is supposed to cost upwards of 3250 residuum.

So if you do 8 weeks of high level runs you get a targetted item that is the best possible in the game? Seems fine.

Yah or you could slap around on the first boss or two of mythic and get the same piece the first week its live for 1/100th the effort. Your average player isn't also clearing 20s. Hell they aren't even sniffin 15s. So they are most likely looking at the full ten weeks.

Pretty sure the rate is significantly reduced until season 2, at which point you'll earn more. That said, it is still slow and still set to be something like 8-10 weeks to get a targeted mythic item. They should have set it around 5-6 imo.

By the time you're picking out your second slot it'll be May and the next content patch will be on the horizon. Can my treadmill have some more artistry please?

Like raids I can understand but then raids to get +x dick points and you can only get x amount a week and need x amount for item z.

It took me a minute to realize that I was playing essentially a mobile game when they added the option to do missions from my phone. Get fucked for that, Blizzard.

This a game for garbage collectors.

Every patch now adds the following: 10 more Mini pets. 10 more Toys. 5 more Dresses with pink stripes. 100 Achievement points for killing a boss with one totem still alive. 5 more mounts.

There's no story, no immersion. No server community, do differentiation. Professions? Guess what. You're not a Weaponsmith, Leatherworker. The best professions are the ones where you just pick up shit laying on the ground.

I couldn't imagine they would fuck the game up any more than they did with 8.0, but holy hell. 8.1 has Nothing for casuals. Nothing for raiders. They fucked over M+ with keystones and made a few dungeons harder. Why did they even bother?

I don't know about your class but for mine the best in slot powers don't come from raids (except one which only works in raids and you only need one of) which means the targetted piece I would be getting literally doesn't exist in the game except a chance from your weekly cache. Seems fine.
