Asmongold is causing more troubles for Blizzard than good. He's a reoccurring figurehead for frustrations that players are dealing with. His leaving the game would be a benefit for them, not a problem.

And at the same time those frustrations would still be there, with one less visible way to vent them.

This is the main problem with current WoW: they don't want to listen to or even really interact with the community. Much like in the old EverQuest days, where the game was players vs. developers: Only this time the developers are throwing a tantrum like a five year old (including going home with their ball) if you even suggest to have fun in some way they did not intend or design.

There is a growing resentment in the WoW community because they feel that their voice and their feelings aren't heard. You can't weasel through that with laywer-like speech bubbles that don't address the elephant in the room.

Wasn't Asmongold not welcomed by Blizzard at Blizzcon and they wouldn't let him stream there either?

Is Towelie still a thing? Talk about a worthless boring streamer.

Also yes McConnell is the perfect sidekick to ride Asmonds coattails and it’s needed. I don’t watch the stream but they have some decent YouTube clips. Although you can tell there is jackall and shit to do in WoW since all their YouTube clips are now reacting to shit.

Oh ya, Towelliee is still a thing. Quite the gamer:

Pro orb runner

Excellent Dodge Skills

Bubble Hearth on progression

How to bear

Pretty sure Asmongold just didn't register to stream at Blizzcon. People made a big deal of him not being able to be on stream with Esfand at Blizzcon, but as far as I can tell, they simply didn't allow him in the area with Esfand because he didn't have a badge, or something along those lines. Probably just some guy working security doing his job, and it got blown out of proportion.

He thought he could decide like the day of the event to show up and do stuff after making like 5 fuck blizzard videos. What did he expect was going to happen?

I wonder if Asmongold pays McConnell. He hasn’t streamed in awhile unless it’s the middle of the night and I’m missing it.

If you think she's actually fucking him I have a bridge to sell you. She gets exposure for whatever social media outlets she needs from his following, and he gets to act like he's dating someone.
Did you forget how much money he brings in a month?

Hes definitely banging her.

He might. He seems like a good bro. I only say that cause the one dude on youtube that constantly clips/rips his streams and uploads them he lets take full revenue from the videos and doesn't claim them.

Towellie is definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. The times I use to watch his stream and the dumb questions he use to ask or lack of simple knowledge on things never cease to amaze me. I can't believe he didnt notice his character hearthing. He lack of self awareness makes me wonder how he made it in mythic raiding.

Twitch chat being retarded is one of the best parts of twitch. They started doing those Thursday night football games on twitch, and the chat was the best part. It was so fucking funny, made the game more enjoyable to watch.

Having chat to bs with makes the games more fun. When I watch Football games, I usually hop onto IRC via mIRC, and jump onto EFnet #football and it makes the games much more enjoyable to watch.

Blizzard is testing a new moderation system for Overwatch Contenders’ Twitch chat | Dot Esports

I wish video game companies would focus on making video games not trying to be some moral police.

Honestly I can see it. The people in overwatch make me salty as fuck to the point I stopped playing it. I have better things to do than be that pissed off at random idiots. Breaking the saltiness feedback loop probably is worth money in their pockets to keep new players from immediately balking at the community. Stuff like this stopped me from playing normal summoners rift in LOL as well. I tend to just play aram where generally people can't get that salty because there is a good chance nobody knows how to play the character they are on for shit anyway so there is an extra layer of understanding for people being a bit derpy. And matches go quick enough even a bad one is easier to just brush off.

If you want that then you need to give the players abilities to police themselves. This arbitrary shit that Bliz likes to attempt to automate to silence/ban accounts or monitor speech is not the answer.

lol

That was no better illustrated than with the debut of the Overwatch League’s Vancouver Titans. The Overwatch League expansion team broadcast its team and branding reveal on Twitch, live from the Vancouver Canucks’ Rogers Arena in Canada. Vancouver signed Overwatch Contenders Korea’s top team, Run Away, and brought them all out to Canada for their debut. But the Twitch chat was anything but celebratory. Once viewers realized the stream was entirely unmoderated, Twitch chat descended into a spiraling vortex of racist hate speech and ASCII dicks.

Blizzard can't even figure out how to not flag accounts for people falsely reporting you because you're not playing the hero they want you to play, I can't imagine them pretending to moderate Twitch chat is going to end well at all.

These are the same complete fucking autists that made an Overwatch League player remove tweets because he posted birthday pepe on his birthday. Their reasoning is because it's offensive. Look at this image. LOOK AT IT. Tell me it's offensive. Is there 98 hidden swastikas I'm missing because of my jew eyes or what?

These are the same fucking RETARDS that fined xQc 4000$ because he used an emote in twitch chat
