Used to use ICQ to play UO because there was no chat system and you could only see text on the screen from players around you. I remember alt-tabbing to chat with people to find out where the PKs were or which dungeon we were headed to, and I thought...this is awesome! Alt-tabbing to chat lol!

Holy shit I ran a really popular BBS back in the early 90s here in Austin (if you were BBSing back then from Austin you probably connected). I had THOUSANDS of LORD players. That game was fun as fuck.

LOTRD was my intro to "the internet" well... BBS' - I loved that game... lead to The Realm and that lead to EQ.... and....history...
