Used to think it was a joke thing, but you know you're getting old when the music teenagers and the early 20-somethings listen to sounds like absolute shit. I'm not a rap connoisseur by any stretch but hot fucking damn, they aren't even trying to rhyme anymore.

i bet kids dont even know what a phonebooth is. too bad, they will never know the trick of making free phone calls. make a collect call, wait for the recording to beep to say your name. instead repeat the number on the payphone so the party on the other end can call you back for nothing. yay!

thats pretty sad. the old library by me used to have a bank of phonebooths. the old wooden ones and you open the door, get in, close the door and the light comes on. it was soundproofed pretty well too.

808's dominate rap songs now more than flow or lyrics, you used to have to be good because you had to flesh out the song with impressive flow changes or clever wordplay
Now days the beats are so heavy and full the actual rapping is just another sound in the mix to alot of people
