So, Barnes and purify might combine in an unusual way. I was playing vs the magic mirror in the adventure, and it summoned a 1/1 copy of an evil heckler. "Cool" I says, "1 earth shock coming up, this will kill it."

However! It didn't kill it, it silenced it, which made it a 5/4, then did one damage, which left a 5/3 on board. Very peculiar. Is that a bug? If so, they'll probably fix it since it might make purify not useless.
If it's a feature, you could stack some large minions in your deck, have Barnes summon them (come on RNGESUS!), then purify them to get a full-sized body.

Not a bug, already works with Volazj.

Barnes doesn't pull the minion from your deck, it's a copy, so it's a bonus 1/1 with possibly a great effect. Purify will make the stats back to normal but really not worth running for that slim chance of a combo. I forgot I had doomsayers in the list but I'd probably keep them anyway. Or replace with Auchenai... like i said, made it in 2 mins and Im a shitty deck builder anyways.

It's not a bug and has always been like that. Earth shock silences before it deals damage. Saw plenty of people in vanilla try to earth shock a minion that had been affected by equality only to be very disappointed.

Rogue is in a bad spot right now. Can anyone remember why they nerfed blade flurry? It feels like reverting that back to 2 mana would help a lot...

miracle rogue would be completely unstoppable if they hadn't nerfed flurry, although a triple nerf was ridiculous overkill. They should have taken away player damage but left it at 2 mana.

They hate OTK and/or huge turns from the hand, combined with "limiting design space" the card could not continue to exist in standard. Hint dickheads: just remove the face damage alone and/or don't have it boosted by spellpower. Instead they nerfed it into the ground.

Meanwhile, priest will always suffer balance issues versus shit like warrior and probably mage, because the basic set that never rotates is hot garbage for some classes and wtf broke ass for others.

Man, I tried playing a dragon renolock yesterday I had made awhile back and lost 7 in a row with it. Granted most of those games I just simply didn't draw reno and like the one game where I did was against a yogg mage who got the miracle yogg, guy had 0 cards left in hand and yogg casts ball of spiders and another minion and infest and cabalist's tome.

I'm kind of enjoying wild because the stuff I'm running into is so varied. There doesn't really seem to be a meta there. I'm up to rank 10 mostly on a Reno Nzoth Rogue, though right now I'm trying a Reno Mage since I have a mage quest. I'm up to 10, we'll see what it looks like around 5 and if my opinion changes. I'm pretty surprised I'm not running into a ton of Zoo or Secret Paladin.

I was streaking pretty well at the end of last season with secretzoth pally. It's basically just the same deck with n'zoth thrown in. The list is naturally deathrattle heavy as is so it doesn't really need tinkering, if nothing else you can just look up one of the old secret pally lists that ran rag and swap him out for n'zoth.

Speaking of xaril the other day. Just played a few more games with my reno/n'zoth/c'thun rogue this morning and while the card at times seems a touch over costed, the potential there is huge. He's one of those cards that can make the impossible possible. Actually I just like it when he gives me a shadowstep poison in that deck.

I nearly lost to a rogue the other day that had a 20 something point c'thun and his only c'thun cards were 2 disciples and a blade of c'thun, and he burned the blade w/ overdraw. It was some crazy brann/shadowcast/shadowstep shenanigans. It made me realize how powerful brann+shadowcast is. I actually would have lost if he didn't misplay, but I think he was going for the dream of a 30 something point c'thun triple battlecry.

The shadowstep toxin is pretty amazing. I pulled 2 of them from him yesterday against a secret paladin in Wild, and used one on MCT. It was probably the best play ever, because he just played around it the whole game which won me the game. It got me extra time I needed.

The other toxins can be okay, but most of the time are pretty average and tend to sit in hand

I've never played Wild. I just assumed that it would be like half secret pally. If it's more varied than standard, I'll definitely check it out.

dragon only seems to work for Warrior my renolock runs lots of low level mobs so its strong in the early game and thanks to c'thun and n'zoth it does not run out of steam and is strong late game.

Only had 1 try at today's brawl but my teammate managed to fuck it up so badly that I'm not looking forward to the next rando. Maybe later.

Yeah I was hoping to burn through all my quests, instead I've gotten two fucktards for partners so far. Not even any point in conceding any time it makes me shaman because nef just swaps your hand so your dumbfuck partner can ruin everything.

*edit*

Or dumbfucks who attack Nef down to 160 before you've prepped your board for elemental destruction.

My teammate didn't drool on himself...So we won fairly easily. It is a decently balanced Brawl...But if one teammate is a moron, I don't think it is winnable.
