Finally got around to watching it. I can definitely see why it wasn't a huge success. There's no hero arc really & the main character is hard to root for, so it's not a satisfying film in that sense. It did have a few interesting bits, Kidman's character having a bad case of stockholm syndrome...

I think S1 could have had a horror/metaphysical/surreal ending as opposed to the one we got. For example, the ending in the film The Wailing where the man in the cave reveals himself to be a literal demon was well done imo. Cohle chasing the killer into some kind of version of Dante's Inferno...

Never tried FFXI, d/l the link... the controls make it virtually unplayable for me at least. I know it's old school but the ui/controls are even worse than original EQ.

I would also suggest PFUI, modified power auras (weakaura alternative), and .exe mod for auto-loot. The only thing you can't do is make aura bars as far as I can tell.
