Holly just confirmed Time-locked expansion servers for PvE and PvP. I guess it took these EQ TLP Servers to make them believe that it was worth looking into. I don't think anyone wants further development of these games. The money is to be made in restoring the nostalgia.

I made a Bard but still trying to figure things out as well. Wanting to play a melee DPS class but just can't decide. Thinking between Bard or Ranger. Thinking Bard will be best in the end though but seem to be so many. Going to sleep on it before I get to invested lol. Server and guild...

Muligan - Half Elf Bard on Lockjaw. Leaving work in 30 minutes I was one of the three but had to jump back off while at work.

I have to work until 2 pm EST tomorrow at the earliest. I also promised to pick up Splatoon for my son tomorrow. Hopefully I can get things going at some point tomorrow. I'm glad they're instancing more zones. I've always been against instancing but this is a different idea all together...

So how does the movie fair for kids? Judging by the reviews and what has been said, I can't really grasp if this leans more towards a decent kids movie or a mediocre adult movie? (maybe it's both)

I actually like the timing of all of this... I knew it would be a cluster at opening but didn't know it would be quite this bad but nevertheless, I don't feel like I got a good run and go with everyone. I've also knocked the rust off and have a feel for the early zones and such. Maybe LJ will...

Let's just hope 80% of population doesn't try to move. A lot of people may be holding off just to see where the chips fall.

Same here.... I didn't really make it that far anyway and it's not hard get through the early levels with BB tooth and CB belts. If I would have made it into my 30's I might have stayed.

So what's the plan? TFO doing LJ then? TL staying put? Be pretty funny if everyone tried to move to LJ and it took a couple of days for everyone make a choice to create a balanced population.

Surprised as well. I heard people talking last night they were able to pull Inny through the floor? So if nothing else people were already talking about going up there and trying.

Smed just posted. "Time for some change." on Twitter.

What would have been the big deal to have two servers and merge them later? It's not like they haven't merged servers before? I'd roll on a new server if they brought it up.

I guess I just don't understand how their guys don't understand how to engineer their own game. This game has been around forever and I beginning to feel the simply have a staff that can maintain and maybe there's a guy or two floating around to get the server/network stuff up and running...

Yeah... they need to hit those stepping stone zones like CB and BB. Would be a huge help.

I don't understand why people level so fast. I wouldn't mind having more time but why not enjoy the nostalgia and goof around a bit. I guess to each their own. Having a blast though. RL should slow down soon. I'm just blown away how people don't care to talk and group. It's such a...

We doing a guild or just hanging out in the channel for now? Been noticing a lot of guilds are popping up now.

Kinda my thought. Especially since they are using the instancing system to manage the newbie zones, let the people play. Not sure how they seem to still be back in 1999 in terms of technology.

Muligan - Half Elf, Bard Currently looking for a mob to kill in Qeynos.

I love the "i'm not putting up with this, i'm going to P99" crowd. After all these years, still some pretty funny people on the forums. I haven't been on the forums in years...

Can't get in... guess i'm going to up for the long haul tonight.

I use Vert Blue but there are several that are better and some people like to piece them together rather than the compilations but if you just look around on EQinterface you'll see the most downloaded. There's about 3 I go between.

Going to try somewhere between 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST. I believe it was said the 3:00 was an "optimistic" launch time.

Here here!

That has been the story of EQ from day one.

Just got to work and sneaked on my laptop to check the status... locked. Did it ever come up in the first place? Looks like a noon PDT ETA at this point however.

I sympathize. People can make mistakes but these guys have been in the industry for how long? This really should not be this difficult. Still hoping I can get started tonight. Long day at work tomorrow...

Can we just put in an order for what we want our character to be equipped with since they are working so hard?

I don't understand though why the decision to not wipe the server? Did they justify this decision? I would think that would be the easiest approach? I'm not sure why this wasn't in parallel? Why not Ragefire Beta and Ragefire? Make necessary changes to Ragefire due to beta findings. On...

Everquest is back!! Oh I feel so young again!

Lol.... Is this classic EQ or what? One more for ole SOE! Eh who cares... It will all be irrelevant in a week. I personally prefer the wipe but it doesn't change what I'll be doing but I do think it skews things a little. Let's just play and move on. Their loss in my opinion but that...

I heard Pantheon was taking a break for the new Progression Server?

Haven't heard anyone say as of yet... I'd be interested as we only have a small subset of our old guild going in at the beginning.

Is there an official go time? My evening meeting has been cancelled so I may be able to get this rolling tonight if it's available.

LOL.. yeah... good times. I'm probably going to roll a bard. I thought I would be the minority but maybe not. Figured the server would be all mage, necros, and some druids in the beginning. But like others have said, it's really hard to guess. Can't wait for the first day.. too bad I have...

I agree.. to me the way Everquest is designed, intentionally or not, no other game can capture what EQ provides with a new server release. Instead of crowded quest hubs it is chaos over a large rat and moss snake lol

I remember finding this quest/item on Allakhazam's when I was planning on rolling a cleric when Lanys opened. For the longest time people had no idea why in the world I had a snare. Loved that little item. Not sure why it took so long to catch on with our server. I think we just didn't have...

I was actually on the fence but got the call today that a small group of our hold posse is rolling. I just don't know if I want to roll a bard or a chanter. Just can't decide....

Was poking around LinkedIn and had no clue Brasse was hired by Trion and Omeed is with NCSoft. Nothing against any of them or do I know them personally but people in the MMO industry seem to believe they are much more famous, near celebrity level it appears, than they are in reality. Again...

I cannot wait for my vacation time coming up. I'm hoping to get 4 weeks off soon and this is on the top of my list to play. Seems like the game continues to get solid updates.

Didn't realize the image was so large so I put in spoiler tags... I still feel like Destiny missed the boat having 3 or more factions (each with their own tower/planet) playing against one another. Could have open PvP planets, contested public events, etc. The first footage I remember...
