Yep. Had to go through the same process. I really suggest you use their "Live chat" service, i find their support team on that end is a lot more competent. The wait time can be a bit long, but i tend to leave the browser open and come back in an hour or so.

I used that keyboard as well. The range is not bad at all, but i find you really have to be facing the PS3/Laptop for it to work 100%. I don't know if its interference on my end, but if the keyboard is facing the unit at an angle, it won't respond perfectly.

Wow i think i am at my wits' end with this system. I just took your advice and put in my pre-order code to retrieve my NAAU code again so i can check if its been "used", and this time i got TWO codes stacked on top of each other, both starting with NAAU. Now i have two completely different 20...

But why are we getting an email asking us to enter our code if we've already done that? Just a confirmation and to track our 20 digit code? Things are really messed up. I had two accounts and registered the code on one account, but received this email on the SECOND account's registered email...

I am quite confused at this point. I entered my pre-order code last night and got a 20 digit code starting with RAAU. I entered it and everything was fine. I wake up this morning and have an email from Square Enix with a 20 digit code starting with RAAE.

RAAU is a Europe code?

You can't enter any code until the 20th. You just register an account, apply to open beta, get instantly accepted and wait until the 20th to enter your pre-order code for the early start.

Yep. Love having the option to switch between controller and mouse/keyboard. I tend to use the controller when I'm soloing, and the latter when grouped.

I am really impressed so far with their handling of the open beta. Instantly accessible at 5AM EST, 40min download on client, took a total of 2 min to create character/log in server.

What do we gain from creating a second character, beside a new race/look? Can't our main character eventually become every single job/class?

For those who just joined the beta and are on Gilgamesh, you will not see anyone around until you finish the initial quest. Don't freak out, you're not on the wrong server =P

Guys I really suggest you hurry and create a char on Gilgamesh. Everyone can register and I am certain they will restrict the creation of new chars like yesterday.

Beta opened exactly at 5AM and now im Myst Draken on Gilgamesh. Was a smooth process thats for sure.

There is no direct link available unless you were in the previous beta. If you were, just go on the beta forums. If not, look 3-4 pages behind, there is a link to a torrent.

I will setup a different channel in Mumble for the Marlboro server. We can sort this mess out when live hits. A server transfer will be available in 2-3 weeks, but i am unsure if they will allow moving to the populated servers.
