    Final Fantasy 16

Combat actually looks solid. Was expecting way worse from the previous trailers but seems like a huge upgrade from FFVII remake.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Yes you can't go higher than 60fps.

Taking some personal care days for this release. That last trailer is hype.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Regardless of their hardware situation and no matter how much we hate it their typical customer will continually justify $60-70 prices for 10 year old games, pay $30-50 for $2 steam indie games, buy decades old remakes for modern prices etc. Parents aren't going to buy a Steam Deck in lieu of a...

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Did you guys just never see any Hinox when you played and fought with sticks/low quality weapons? You could get an inventory full of knight or if lucky royal weapon drops pretty much immediately after getting out into the world and never think about it again. It made dura a short term...

NVidia GeForce RTX 40x0 cards - x2 the power consumption, x2 the performance

Save another $600 4090 or wait until next gen imo. 3080ti -> 4090 is indeed like ~2x better vs ~1/3 for 7900.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Same. Handheld gaming isn't for me, but they have at least a dozen games each gen that are 100% worth playing and I don't want to be a pirate. Emulated versions of their games in 4k look fantastic. BOTW below for example.

The durability isn't gone based on that trailer, but even in the first one that was a non issue within the first couple of hours.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

That's cause it's in the switch thread =D And yes it's going to be amazing to see the creativity that comes out of this game with how much came out of the first.

Sadly no. They need more body types or sliders for small / medium / big gulp.

Did you guys know that druids had to eat both a werewolf and werebear at the same time in order to become the fat fucks they are in this game? #blizzardlore #bodypositivity #fatfuckingdruids

    Diablo 4 / IV / IIII / Fore / Cope / Seethe

Leveling has never been a challenge in any ARPG so the scaling is whatever. You run around 1 shotting everything higher/lower/equal to your level if you gear/build correctly so what difference does it make? Getting to 100 and then doing whatever end game loop is the only thing that will matter...

    General Gaming News and Discussion

I feel like not much grass is going to be touched this summer with Zelda 2, D4, CS2, BG3, SF6, FFXVI on the to do list and the backlog that never ends. Shaping up to be a crazy good gaming year though.

    Diablo 4 / IV / IIII / Fore / Cope / Seethe

Got second char, the rogue, to 25. Will probably wait until next test to run Barb or if they unlock the other classes try them. I've put like 10 hours or so into this beta and I like it. Very good Diablo aesthetic, story so far seems to be pretty metal, dungeons are fun, skill trees seem good...

Yeah happened to me just now as well. 80 minute que again. <_< Finished fucking around on Sorc so will try something else next.

    Diablo 4 / IV / IIII / Fore / Cope / Seethe

Just about wrapped up leveling Sorc before I got trapped in an instanced zone and had to exit and come back to an hour que. It's going to be really hard to tell if this is worth a dick without getting into end game. It feels like every ARPG that has ever existed in the early game minus the fact...

Game Pass for Xbox and PC

On Gamepass I think the closest to Mario 64 would be Pyschonauts 2 (was enjoyable) or Super Lucky Tale games (never played). Turn based the Wasteland series games are great. Return to Monkey Island was decent for a puzzle game.

    Diablo 4 / IV / IIII / Fore / Cope / Seethe

You can do whatever you want and not fall behind and the game is extremely easy to get alts up. I've got a 410 main playing fairly casual by the second week after character was created and 2 400 alts that basically do nothing at all other than raid. Unlocked valor so you can farm until your...

Game Pass for Xbox and PC

Beat HiFi Rush this weekend after playing on and off for the last week. Mix of Devil May Cry style combat tied to rhythm for combat bonuses with surprisingly decent writing and great art/animations. Gamepass gem for sure.

    Black Desert

Got tired of waiting for order to fill so in the great tradition of BDO I present the ~13-14B cost to craft for the 4.5B item. I gained 4 170+ stacks out of it and removed like a thousand of these clothes from existence. Best game on the planet.

Wild Hearts - EA Monster Hunter Clone

Oh the volatile. Yeah just need to abuse trap/harpoon. If you're good about it you can keep it near perma locked. Pretty much mandatory to do in these fights. If you have access to the resurrection perk (on some armor or talisman kemono alignment) that let's you take a death without losing a...

Wild Hearts - EA Monster Hunter Clone

You mean Deathstalker, the ice wolf or do you mean ? If it's Deathstalker then abuse harpoon/chain trap (which is really what you should do always if you need it to enable your damage) and then I really recommend using a range weapon or going multiplayer for the true end boss. I did the last...

Wild Hearts - EA Monster Hunter Clone

I 100%'ed what's available currently and I'm still not tired of it, but can't wait to see what they do in another year of additions. Made the giga chad katana and have what I can only assume is the best armor/talisman set up I can get currently. I know MH series has nothing to worry about but I...

    New World

That's fair. I can see them pumping out content. If you were in the early alpha/beta days the amount of time it took them to pivot to where the game was at launch was extremely fast by most standards. Though that obviously came with a slew of bugs so I wouldn't be surprised if that becomes the...

    New World

I tried to play for a bit on the last big update, but I'm pretty sure I'd need to come down with amnesia to give it a good look again. A bummer since I enjoyed my 200 some odd hours when it launched dupes, lag, exploits and all. I am impressed they are continuing with this level of development...

Just got around to beating the bird of auspice after clearing out all the rest of the crap and upgraded my armor and weapon. Excited to see what you can build deep in the tree if you can already get all these perks and decent enough attack to wreck house. Edit: if you haven't finished chapter 3...

Wild Hearts - EA Monster Hunter Clone

All about food document. Sad that there wasn't more to it as I've discovered the majority of these and was hoping there was some more depth to it. Food shrines + fish paddles are pretty sick to cut out the need to farm when you can load them up in your maps too bad they don't have one for meat.

Wild Hearts - EA Monster Hunter Clone

Yeah I've been going through all the cooking processes. I just didn't know if one was more superior than others. I'm wearing the monkey/icetusk set in kemono side with enough armor/resists to not get 1 shot by anything I have fought so far though I have a 1 shot res perk to stop that from...

Wild Hearts - EA Monster Hunter Clone

Anyone figure out what to craft for best all around attack food? Google is dead to me and haven't seen any sort of wiki. I've crafted at least 2 dozen varieties (tons of elemental damage/resist ones) and just want to focus on one thing to stock up on. I've got 4 of the maps unlocked currently...
