It's not specifying it as a CE on mine, either, probably because - and I'm just speculating here - that it's just a generic early access code and not tied to CE benefits. In other words, probably won't get the CE stuff until Launch Day.

I was wondering about one thing: just how much of the main cutscenes were supposed to be voice-acted. Some of the storyline seemed a touch abrupt in the transition from voice back to text and vice-versa (which parts were and were not voiced).

Er, I meant to say total connections. Just an idea of the open beta interest, really. 1mil beta apps from P3 includes duplicates, so seeing just what a general census for an OPEN beta is would be interesting, given how things are going now.

I really want to know what the census numbers are for total concurrent connections, unique accounts, etc. That said, I'm glad this is showing up now instead of Early Access. ;p

It's very very pretty, but it really made me think of TERA (the map mostly). The video wasn't a very big sample size of gameplay and the like, though, imo. The ambience was very good, particularly the part where the thunder is in the background.

If you mean the one that would complete rank 2? My guess is they deliberately left those out so people didn't accidentally "finish" it and all sorts of random fallout from having the rest available for exp vroomvroom later.

@Brakthir: P4 notes are unclear and seem to say no (exception: PVP area is pretty much Legacy/1.0 chars only since they can be above level cap of 20). @Nola: It should open Saturday for signup and/or access if you can't get in Friday.

That's kind of the point, too, unless you want to min-max your stats for your chosen job.

Not that I know of. My money's still down on Thief being put in as a base class first (nevermind the guild spot in Limsa Lominsa), for all that sweet-sweet Ninja/Samurai Job evolution later on.

If it's the XXXXXX-XXX-XXXXXXX-XXX (x's not to scale) type code, those aren't valid yet and are for early access. If you're looking for a P4/beta code, you'll have to say hello to the site on Saturday(?) unless you were in a prior beta, at which point login with that account.

Even before the water immersion, Y'shaarj (through the corrupted goblin?) mentions being merely asleep. Dead or not, that doesn't really scream "gone for good, out of the picture" to me. Regarding finishing Klaxxi (don't click if you don't want to know before finishing yourself):

EQAtlas was the best for getting around. Those maps were a labor of unconditional love.

Were you in any of the prior betas/Legacy account status, etc. etc.? Or are you coming in fresh? If it's the latter, that could be why.

I was half-hoping that we'd see the datamining put online by someone by now, but nope.I wanted to see if the numbers changed any from the benchmark datamine.
