This game is great. I've finished the English, French, and Mongols campaigns so far. Going to start the Russians soon. Good variation in the mission designs and the documentary-style narration and movies are really awesome.

We get a new flavor of the month FPS, well, monthly... but the two Doom games have been the only FPS games in recent years that totally delivered and were memorable for me. Don't skip Doom 2016 either. The game is fire. I think I liked it better than Doom 2020.

I don't think it was after the fact, I think it was the attrition in the years leading up to launch. By the time the game hit the store shelves, it sounded like a lot of the talent responsible for the Witcher magic had bolted or been tossed out. It certainly showed in the shit-show that was CP2077.
