I just kind of fuck around doing the weeklies and Torghast, but that's it. I switched covenants so playing a little bit more to recover, but no real reason for it.

Little Nightmares is a good little adventure/puzzle game. Limbo is probably the closest game I can think of it being similar to off the top of my head. I'm sure other people can describe it better.

Keep making them. If you look it should have a crafting "experience bar" on the item in your profession window. It will show you what you need to rank it up to the next level. Then you'll be able to swap between them.

I haven't played Hades yet (probably up next in my queue), but Torghast definitely felt like it had some inspiration from Slay the Spire.

Why would you believe that? You're using your logic, and not Blizzard logic. It would make more sense in Blizzard logic to re-release a "finished" product like Classic that needs less manpower on it, than to spend resources to work on TBC.
