Yep. That was with me. It's a dumb boss. For the tougher version I went in with Minfillia and Selphie for two sources of Last Stand. Someone else brought Gordon who gives physical blink and that helps a ton. The trick is to just keep spamming Last Stand. Pretty stupid fight really.

First of all, thank you @Vinen . Your Emperor was exactly what I needed for that fight. That fight was awful. It's just badly designed in my opinion. But I got it after a couple of attempts. My kill was just under 3 hours.

I saw that. Totally nuts but even at 11 / 11 it's a pass for me. I have two of the bursts, SG and Shout already. Physicians Staff is just +10 mind and Excalibur is very outdated. But if you're missing SG or Shout you should definitely pull.

Went in mostly blind with Tilith, Rikku, WOL, Ace and friend Ace (you weren't available Sinzar so a different one). Easily beat the trial but I didn't get the Waterga challenge.

Not that I would chase a 5 star base but I want to make sure my thinking is correct: I have Ramza and, someday, he will be enhanced. As such Lunera isn't a very big deal for me. Is my thinking correct?

I'll admit I wasn't too thrilled to pull Ace as my guaranteed five star. But I've fully enhanced him and geared him up and he hits like a truck. Timed right I can chain him with a friend Orlandu and they melt Mog's face.

I only had enough Mythril for one 11x pull and zero relics on the banner. I went 3 / 11 with bursts for Cloud, Sephiroth and an SSB for Rufus. I missed out on the grand prize but it's still a good pull.

I'm still 2 Giancrysts from fully enhancing Ace. Tri-Laser might be costly using power crysts but it's essential for him. The other two enhancements are cheap enough to just do. The 40% MAG is nice.

I got Ace too from my guaranteed. Looking at him he seems to be one of the top mages in the game. He needs Tri-Laser enhanced and that makes him pretty good. With that said he's still a mage in a game where physical units dominate.

Sphereimorph is bugged. It uses an element attack which makes it vulnerable to the opposite element. But right now as soon as the player turn starts the weakness goes away.

What's the ideal number of Rikkus? I ended up with 5 or 6 in my pulls.

I didn't have a single relic on banner 1. I have 4 or 5 relics on the other banners which is why banner 1 was, clearly, my best. So 6 new relics and I got the ones I wanted most.

Make sure you do the equipment quests in the Vortex. 300 Lapis and 3 Summoning tickets. Just make sure you have some maxed out story units. If you gear them up with TMRs and event gear you can, easily, finish in two rounds or so.

Imperil was Gabranth's burst and Balthier's SSB. Both new for me and I needed a darkness imperil. Curaga was Selphie's USB. Not bad since it's instant, last stand and regen. Vanilla is still better with her burst but Selphie will have niche use.

Banner 1 is amazing for me. I have 4+ dupes on every other banner. On banner 1 I don't have a single dupe. I'm just under 200 Mythril so I'll have enough for a few pulls even with the luckies coming.

I'm just glad I got her last year. It's fun watching everyone lose their shit over her on Reddit and the EXVIUS forums.

The Lucky is a skip for me. I have 15 out of 35. There's nothing appealing from the stuff I'm missing so it's an easy pass.

Yeah I'll be going into this event with Maxwell, Tilith and Seria for 250% bonus + 100% from a friend. I won't be spending a single ticket or Lapis on the event. But for those who weren't around last time or weren't lucky it sounds like Tilith is mandatory. So glad I already have her.
