Playing with the 70-200mm f2.8 lens. Caught my kitten playing in the kitchen. Auto ISO was on, these were at ISO6400 f2.8 @200mm, creamy background.

Yeah, from what I read the D800 and D800E are pretty damn close. I'm wanting to do more landscape and the D800E is suppose to be real good for that. The 70-200mm VRII came today and the first image out of it is nice. Some moth at 200mm handheld from about 4 feet away.

Many years of basketball and rolling my ankle. Finally just gave out and tore longitudinally in two places. Doctor said lots of old scar tissue had to cut away so it was an old injury. Just started hurting one day and swelled up like a mofo.

The swelling still bothers me. It's been 3 months and 2 days since surgery but my doc said that could go on for up to a yr since it was soft tissue damage. Still less pain than before surgery.
