Emmisaries scale all the way up to 445. Do your black empire invasion and that gets you a couple more 445 items. The prepatch stuff is all ilevel equivilent to 445 so if you are not geared up yet just wait a week or two and get full sets on all alts.

That doesn’t seem like what is going on or they would have a segment all voiced or all not. The shifting back and forth in the same sequence is both jarring and weird.

I don’t think I will ever understand the random use of voice. In the same sequence it can shift between voiced and non voiced and back.

The msg between arr and the first expansion is still pretty much non stop go here talk to a dude they just made it so just doing msg keeps you above level for it so you basically are ONLY doing those go to npc quests. They could have trimmed another 10 to 20 of these without impacting the story.

I as a new player totally missed I got a ton of those as rewards until right before they moved their head quarters to rising stones. Still use them for some random stuff that sends you back there.

Especially if you are in a mission that requires you to capture three points. The AI companions seem to utterly ignore objectives and having to do all three yourself AND defend the points is frustrating beyond belief even one other player makes those more enjoyable.

Well when you boil it down basically you either get some kind of rotation or priority system or you have EQ2's rando wack a mole where for a long time the only real strat was hit all of the things as fast and as often as you can in no discernable order.

It helped a lot this go round after revamp you can just stick to the msq and not just keep up but be ahead level wise without doing basically any side quests.

Nice thing with mechagon is basically focus on doing the main daily then whatever else you want to or feel up for. The big once per day thing generally is the biggest wack of rep especially with doubled gains so if you have limited time you can still make good progress.

At least it does not have one of your leveling up paths involving watching cat videos due to an instance with 40ish minutes of unskippable cutsceens.

Mechagon you can fly for most of that time anyway using the free jet packs its basically only naz that is a bit of an ass pain.

I have to say the chat of people who were level 70 ish doing the praetorium trapped in the endless cutsceen limbo was hilariously salty.

Finally got through the base game stuff and I have to say if wow ever tried something like the praetorium +ending sequence of nearly an hour of unskippable cinematics with tiny bursts of actually being able to do anything the rage on the forums and youtube would be cataclysmic.

Sad but not surprising. It was expensive to shoot and pretty niche audiance. I am glad they got two seasons to work with.
