    What's your budget you'd like to spend? I would definitely advocate getting a decent acoustic if you think she'll stick with it. If she's tall she might not even need a reduced scale guitar. Do you have a shop nearby where you can go look at stuff?

    Their original plan of spreading money around and trying to get under the luxury tax was a solid one. I don't think they'll do much for the rest of the offseason, since the holes they have don't have a lot of good free agent matches, and they don't have a lot of trade chips.
