Isn't it similar to GW2 where you can buy cash shop currency with real money and then exchange it for game currency to buy stuff on the AH? Or can you actually just straight up buy purples with cash in the store?
Just an FYI, I used the info provided by Fazana on the previous page to get a beta key from the buffed German site. I had to register my accounthereas a United Kingdom account for it to accept the beta key. Currently downloading the beta client, thanks.
So sad, lost a beast ass bow mara at 52 to that Brutus clone on the way to creul Piety. I was kiting him around the pillars and he chain hooked pulled me inside of a pillar and I got stuck and he 1 shot me haha.
Died in Act 2 Cruel on a 44 Ice Temp, to shock stacking + electric curse. Was my own fault just didnt realize it was going to be that bad. 26 now starting act 3 normal on same Ice Temp.
Act 3 actually isn't complete the rest of it is coming in OB I believe. Also I think they are adding 1 act per year and plan to develop for 10 years so might be numerous plot holes as we go along.
The only issue is where you start on the passive tree. I'm playing a caster templar and while I am super tough my damage and mana is lacking because it will take me longer to get to the witch/shadow side where those nodes are. In the end it will be basically the same.
Prismatic Rings - I assume its not worth alch'ing these unless they are perfect which i hear is 12%? Also is your character level what determines the roll on an alch'd item - aka save don't alch till 60-70+?
I think its great. Its a lot more in depth compared to D3. Its not as polished and has some issues like the casting bug Caliane described, but it has so many possible ways to build a character and combined with the currency system makes for a pretty enjoyable experience.
Pyros maybe you could give this a quick look. Im looking to do a hardcore cold Templar with a spell totem for skeletons. Im just checking to see howthislooks as a build. Im mainly wondering if my survival is decent enough for HC and if my offensive stats are good enough to make freeze pulse/ice...
There is no alternative really. Making due until you get that drop to sell for a decent amount is what the game is about. I started playing again this week and had literally nothing, but after a few days I got two drops, one sold for 5 mill and the other for 14. It allowed me to propel myself...
Depending on when you last played they nerfed inferno across the board and then more recently introduced a difficulty slider called monster power. The base game as you remember it in inferno is probably monster power 3-4. On the default setting of MP0 the whole game on inferno is pretty faceroll...
Keep at it, even with sub 100mf I find about 1 legendary per 2 hours. For farming though stick to MP1 on Act 1-2 and MP0 on Act 3 its the most efficient way to go. You can find that info as well as key finding datahere.
The currency, crafting, leagues, events, skills (materia), and passive tree are the best parts of this game. The gameplay while I find it good is a bit clunky compared to similar games like D3.
