All we got was the scene towards the end when pearlman rubs that smugness right off him. He bounces right back but one has to savour whatever one gets i suppose.
finished the dragonfall today, a vast improvement over the base campaign, but i never had any problems with the old saving system. what i saw as improvements was mainly the plot and the character interactions, side-quests and also world-interaction, the game felt more alive.
yeah, pretty underwhelming with the 8-gates so far, i mean they still need like 4 extra people just to get past the defenses so Gai could land one punch.
finally the 8th gate, it's been talked about since nearly the beginning. probably Gai will die to buy them a little bit of time or something so that Naruto/Sasuke can finish madara off... too bad, Gai was a neat character.

So some pro-players ranked casters from 1-19. Bit surprised to see wolf so low as well as khaldor being pretty low too, but I guess that the top 5 or so are more or less spot on.
i don't see why afro samurai or astroboy were there, nor why they included haruka but not naota from flcl. but with these kinds of lists there will always be omissions etc.

IMO it could have been shorter and with more of a explanation of what exactly he did that was illegal and what other shady stuff went on, and how it affected other people. a couple of times the character starts to explain the mechanics of what he was doing, but then snapped back saying "but you...
I believe balrogs, dragons and sauron were all creations/servants of morgoth. Balrogs/Dragons seem extremely powerful, only one of either capable of destroying entire dwarf cities, yet killable by powerful beings like ancient elves or wizards, often resulting in both beings dieing.
I enjoyed the first movie, and although it too was bloated with extra filler, it felt more seamless, and more true to the book.
However, Hobbit 2, felt less connected to the book, and the filler material was more apparent.
New Vegas had in my opinion a much more intriguing and original storyline than FO3, and also had more fleshed out endings! The DLCs were incorporated into an overall story arc in NV with a moral message, while in FO3 they felt more like stand alone adventures. Fighting in FO3 became very easy...
Hopefully Bethesda has learned a few things from obsidian. Fallout new vegas improved Fallout 3 in nearly every aspect. Racism is kind of relevant in the ghoul/mutant aspect, but I think that overall Fallout has never been about emphasizing the darker aspects of a post apocalyptic world. Rather...
