Right now in Origins they seem to have a working combat logging thing. When you log out your character stays online for 30 seconds or so waving his arms helplessly in the air. You can kill them in that state. Not sure if it's Origins or vanilla though.

Slow zombies inside + massive horde aggro from gun fire was really fun in Early DayZ. I understand they want to make Zs more of a threat (and slow speed indoor = easy mode). But making them fast indoor is not a good solution. Especially if they zig zag and bug out as much as they do in DayZ...
