Agreed that it looks better, but it's not there yet. Textures are flat and don't sport near the detail of the polygon version. It still looks like a wreck from a distance but apparently they're working hard on the draw distance.

I'm sure it looks better these days because that shot was old when they showed it off, but I'd say Landmark makes it obvious they're still not close to where it was. I think that's just going to be the case for the game in general. There's a lot of weird geometry shit with even basic terrain...

Same. Actually I've never really had fun doing PVP in an MMO because by and large I think the mechanics make for a less than ideal pairing. I play online comptetive games, just not so much in this genre.
