What are your goals with this "upgrade". I wouldn't recommend sinking money into an old amd system. The ssd is a good purchase because you can reuse it when you actually do upgrade. If you want better fps in games, video card / cpu is what you should be looking at.

Also, some people are loyal to AMD or Nvidia at this point. After a bad string of driver issues I have not run an AMD card in years. (not that they have problems now, it just made me switch and I haven't felt the need to swap back)

It depends on the game - I'm not sure if it's enabled yet but BF4 should have the Mantle API which AMD built and that may be why it's has a little better performance. They are both good cards and in some games the 770 will be a little faster.

Other than video card you have no place to gain performance in the specs you posted. Buy the best card you can afford if you want to be future proof for awhile. 770 is a performance value imo (I run high res monitor), but the 780 is a beast.

I have a 5 drive custom box running unraid and some old amd chip. Uses 40 watts according to my ups. I would imagine that the all-in-one units use even less.

Sitting 7-10 feet away on a 51'' screen is fine unless you have laser eyes. Sitting at your desk 2 feet away TVs look like ass while trying to do anything computer related.

700 is more than enough for what you have listed but you have a 4 year old PSU and depending on the brand you might want to consider replacing it with a newer model from a reputable manufacturer like seasonic or corsair.
