Has much changed since the WoD release? I bought it and played for like 2 months and havent played since. The "story mode" was cool but other than that the game just seemed more complicated. Plus i'm a cheap bastard and the $15 per month just didnt seem worth it.

So I ended up getting the Vizio E55 from Best Buy for $499. Checks all my boxes and it's a hell of an upgrade from my 40" Panasonic Plasma from 2005.

So does anyone have their heart set on a black friday TV deal? There are so many that I can't make up my mind. And I don't want to get a "black friday special" model with limited features. The only features I care about are 55"+, 3+ HDMI, 1080p and <$600.

That's not what i've read. It looks like the upscaling processors in some 4K models dont do a great job with low resolution elements like OTA and DVDs.

Good points. I measured my viewing distance and it looks like it is 12'. Which means that I wont be able to tell the difference between 4K and 1080p anyway, so I guess i'm going to get a better and bigger 1080, rather than a budget 4K.
