    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2 Remaster

Just going to jump in here and say even though I didn't play a lot of Tony Hawk back in the day, I got excited and the soundtrack was also the first thing on my mind as well.

    Rick and Morty

See, I thought those two episodes from Season 4 were the weakest ones. I enjoyed Crystal Morty, the heist one, and Snake Jazz, with the heist one being in the top-tier. But overall, alternating good-bad. Both the two recent ones I thought were pretty good.

    Diablo II - Resurrected

Like 18 months ago, when the entire Diablo community was clamoring for any hint of a new release and instead got the whole Diablo: Immortal clusterfuck, that was the time to do it. Too little, too late. Of course my will is weak and I will want to get it anyway, but by then I can hopefully at...

Coronavirus Updates, Important Information, and Ancedotal Experience

It's a little faster nowadays, you get Major in the AF in 10, LtCol usually around 15. Usually still need 20 to retire though unless you qualify for early retirement due to medical or them doing a round of cutbacks. Back to the topic, I think it being "permanently disqualifying" is an asinine...

    The Division 2

Huh. Looks like it's kind of all over the place now. I see $30 on the Microsoft store and $9 for a standard PS4 version on Amazon.

    The Division 2

Division 2 (minus the expansion) was permanently marked down to $3 before the expansion hit. It's an amazing game at $3.

    Extraction (2020)

Caught this last night. Didn't know they had put together a 11 1/2 minute action scene using the one-shot tricks like 1917 had. Was great for just that part alone.

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

$20 to rent at home vs $20 to own later down the line. Yeah no thanks. A new golden age of piracy gonna happen though. High-def rips the day of theatrical release.

    The Office

Without spoilers, starts going downhill after season 5 and totally jumps the shark after 7.

The Wire: Greatest Show Ever Made

I thought I saw somewhere that one of the major writing contributors left the show in the last season which is why It sorts of starts to stretch the bounds of believability somewhat.

    Bosch

Yup, series is great. I never skip the the intro sequences either. Read a couple of the Connelly books, got Concrete Blonde on order. I like how Connelly's background as a court reporter I think it was ? helps him capture the realism of police work (the paperwork, etc).

The Wire: Greatest Show Ever Made

Finally covered the whole thread. Probably going to wait for a rewatch but looking for the next fix. Probably Gneration Kill. I also follow Bosch, binged the latest season of that this weekend as well.

The Wire: Greatest Show Ever Made

Finished my first watch of the series last night. Late to the party, so sue me. I will freely admit while I was watching it that I was one of "those guys" who couldn't stop talking about it. S4 was the pinnacle for me. Anything that followed that had to be a letdown.

    Whats rustling your jimmies?

The problem is that a video needs to be over 10 minutes to be monetized, or something like that. It's getting to the point where I can guess if there's extra padding (anything between 10-11 minutes) or if a content creator is a good guy and doesn't give a fuck (under 10 min).

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

Please, not Alamo Drafthouse. The rest of the big ones can all go die in a fire though.

Watch this movie and find out. It's pretty great. Like King of Kong without a scheming asshole villain.

    The Division 2

Div 1 had its ups and downs as well. Started with a good leveling experience and then got rough with no discernible endgame and ton of the same "1 step forward, 2 steps back" nonsense with bugs and devs that don't know the idea of fun. Got things tuned in finally with loot and item balance...

    The Division 2

Leveling in NY was fun, story was decent but the last boss fights were kind of a drag. Didn't feel like continuing the grind after that. So they got my money again, but 0 engagement afterward. Mission accomplished?

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness

I believe it. I didn't catch exactly when he started filming the reality show, but you look at some of the older footage and it looks like he's aged about 20-30 years.

I too have a hankering for some Division again but Div 1 sounds way better right about now.

Diablo 3 - Reaper of Souls

You could. Another combo worth looking at using with the season buff might be In-Geom / Messerschmidt's Reaver. For extra fun, Echoing Fury also grants run speed.

Diablo 3 - Reaper of Souls

Yeah that's pretty much it. Manitou does a lot of the work but the phantasms also explode with a big multiplier making letting you clear big packs quickly. It does feel like a lot going on, because you also need to be keeping up Soul Harvest / Locust Swarm and other buffs. Definitely not as...

Diablo 3 - Reaper of Souls

The glass cannon push build doesn't use it, but the best thing left to try would be 2x Unity + follower relic. Assuming you are using the build with RoRG in the Cube and Capt Crimson set, I would replace RoRG with Unity and just skip the Crimson set. Use some other belt like Transcendence. If...

    The Division 2

Yeah I did Wall Street, just story mode, in a 4-man PUG. Don't know if it was the group or not but that shit was a painful grind. Not looking forward to much endgame based on the reports I've been hearing. Will probsbly nmess around a little a build and some recalibration, get collectibles, etc...

Go ahead and hop in. Everything I had got rerolled and blue and purple level 31s already obseleted my GS 480-490 yellows. I'll just enjoy the leveling ride and won't bother relearning all the different systems again until 40.

    VFW (2019)

Forgot to mention--the buddy who recommended it to me said it was "the closest thing to a John Carpenter film without it being a John Carpenter film." So that pretty much sold me right there.

    VFW (2019)

Saw this a couple weeks ago when I found this theater that tends to show grindhouse films. Description pretty much says it all and it delivered everything I was expecting. It has the black guy from Dusk Till Dawn and Norm from Cheers, because why the hell not?

    Guns Akimbo (2020)

They had a showing at Alamo here for it but cancelled it because of some Twitter bullshit with the director or something. Jimmies rustled. Edit: they are showing it at this other theater that I went to a couple weeks ago for another midnight grindhouse film.

It makes one aspect (getting the trifecta or quadfecta of desired rolls) somewhat easier. As long as you have a good bank of rolls across different stats built up, as long as you get 2/3 or 3/4, you are OK. That part of it right now is the bullshit that has people with hundreds of items in the...

    Pokemon Card Game

Check trollandtoad.com or tcgplayer.com for a little better idea. But looks like Dark Raichu might go for a couple bucks? Hitmonchan was arguably one of the best Pokemon in the game in the early days, but was never worth much. Realistically, I have no idea if there even any demand for many...

    The Division 2

Pretty sure just the expansion. There's seasonal activities for both basic and season pass holders, but the season pass will have some extra content, cosmetics, and maybe some missions. That's as I understand it at least. Having been paying too much attention to it and it is always prone to...
