Yah, like @Attog said, immediately thought of John Carter. Great special effects and novel futuristic ideas, but we all know that can't account for meh storytelling or bad acting. Calling it now, will be bad. Acting looks super dull. Even Hugo Weaving appears disinterested.

I think the biggest perceived "problem" is the fact that in season 1, it was so original, well paced, deliberate, and self-aware, that we couldn't wait to see what all the secrets are. They are saying that AMC is throwing money at Norman Reedus to keep the show going. As much as I like Daryl's character, he isn't anything w/ out Rick. Their dynamic is what made each character special. Not only that, but Daryl is waaay too stoic to fill in Rick's boots.

It's interesting how we look at that is clever use of game mechanics, and a better understanding of the weapon arsenal through purposful testing, which we can easily justify as a legit win in our minds. These days it would be instantly deplored, and considered heretical due to an 'imba' weapon...

I'm digging the direction Science fiction movies are going though, with an emphasis on the "science" part, or at least a worthy attempt at it. The Martian, Interstellar, Arrival, Ex Machina, Annihalation, are all pushing the genre in a good direction IMO

Was about to start this up again and play through with human only and noticed new achievements added semi-recently. No official news on what it is, nor is it in the steam store yet, but can likely expect new DLC. Maybe come e3 we'll find out more?

Just started leveling up last week here. Just my luck the announced a new TLP. What are your guys thoughts on sticking around on Agnarr? Project it has more staying power and that a good amount of hte population will stay, or should I save my energy for the new TLP in March?

I imagine it's because the highest spending of Krono occurs during Classic > Velious, and drops off substantially after that. They're just chasing the money. Lot of people just love the leveling in EQ as well and just show up for that portion and fail to even step foot in raids.

I know this question is asked a lot but you guys have your finger on the pulse with this - is the leveling population to 60 still somewhat decent? I'm having a hankering for EQ and dont think I have it in me to wait until the next progression server, unless anybody knows if a new one is coming soon.

There's actually a relatively significant amount of people migrating back to D1 for the PVP alone. I for one like the subtle changes they've made to movement, but that's it and definitely miss the 6v6. Also, the lack of power fantasy in D2 compared to D1 is what I think is really killing it for...
