This is the play that got the thread talking about it. The NFL put out a statement that there was going to be an emphasis on it this year. So I don't know if it has been called a lot, but it has been called at least once.
Wait a minute. Did that lady just say that Clay Guida is in the UFC hall of fame? The fuck...?
Edit: I admittedly don't pay as much attention to the UFC as I used to. Apparently there are different "wings" in the UFC HOF, and Guida and Diego Sanchez are in there from their fight.
I think people are making too much of the penalty enforcement. As Jooka noted above, it's really just about getting in other players faces or taunting towards them. Unless they get super ticky tacky with it, I think it is fine. Rubbing it in another players face after every play, is just dumb.
This was the one thing that always stuck with me when reading the books, and the thought of ever bringing it to screen. I just don't see how they are going to be able to properly convey the One Power on screen. Doesn't seem possible.
Injuries are such a weird thing. One knock on Jimmy has been around staying healthy, but taking the last 3 years as an example, I legit don't know how you avoid it. Torn ACL on a freak play when he tried to do too much, 1 year totally healthy, then last year 2 separate high ankle sprains...
Some "news" on the TV Show for anyone actually still interested at this point.
Edit: Just realized there is a thread in the TV forum. My bad

So what does this really mean though? The restraining order is denied, but what does that actually mean in terms of him playing again? They are still investigating the criminal charges, and MLB is going to extend the administrative leave I am sure. So he continues to not play while they decide...
Pretty sure the Dodgers aren't getting Bauer back this year. Seems like this other story is BS, but in this climate and #metoo, he is already fucked in the eye of the public. So MLB will not let him play again, I am sure...
So fucking dumb. Go make that money I guess.

This thread is much more enjoyable with Muurloen on ignore, you guys should all try it. I often times completely forget about him, until one of you quotes him and am reminded he is still around.
I don't like putting people on ignore, but when they add literally nothing beyond trolling, it is a...
So it definitely is not worse than Candlestick. But it also doesn't have that same grit and history as Candlestick. Problem with Levi's is the fact that they built a billion dollar stadium, and it simply does not have all the bells and whistles of all these other new stadiums. It is really...
All of this is in fact true. I look at these new stadiums being built, and they are fantastic. What the 49ers built is pretty shitty. And the prices are still absolutely unreasonable to go see a game.
