Not sure if you HAVE to beat it on hard to unlock it. I played through on Hard and beat it, and unlocked it. Being as how you started at that difficulty as well, you should be granted the same access. As far as the differences go, I'm having a hard time understanding what the real difference is...

You play through True Vault Hunter mode? It's not uber hard, but you can get gibbed pretty easy if you aren't careful.....

Anybody played this yet w/ some initial impressions? I personally didn't find the first 3 campaigns to be all that riveting, but the gunplay was occasionally fun. Hoping maybe the story has a little bit more depth, but I'd buckle down and drop the 60$ if it is awesome in other areas.......

Lot of weird shit going down at Epic. Most of the big public faces have left. Wonder if there is some sort of internal craziness going down. Mike Capps, Rod Fergusson, Cliffy B, Quinn del Hoyo & I think maybe a few more have all bailed w/ in the past 6 months to a year. Not exactly 100% related...

Good luck on 'max level'ing, Sean. I know you can poop-sock w/ the best of them, but this game turns into a serious grind (mentally). Quests have absolutely 0 thought behind them, and the story is worse than meh. Saving grace is the combat as mostly everybody mentions. Archer's aren't a bad...

Also gotta look at when your definition of 'Sandbox' was created. Casting your now evolved definition of 'Sandbox' on a game that came out in '99 may not be fair. Looking at EQ now, you can easily say 'this is not Sandbox'. But 14 years ago, I think a lot of people felt EQ was sandbox as fuck...

Wish more game devs would release SDK's for their games. There's a reason why the Quake 2 / UT era were so popular and successful....community driven mods. I would love to see some people put together new maps, maybe an Isstvan remake. Who knows, and I'm quite positive there are crews out there...
