Ivory Tower would be a weird one since it grants max energy shield based on reserved life. Also, since you're using mana as EHP, you'd have no auras. I bet a regular LL Shavs setup would work better.

1M would be ok starter for shaper if you're doing a dot build. If you have to actively maintain it, I shoot for 2M.

Looks like they using the scaling similar to ailment threshold. So on a Shaper target, you would need to hit for ~800k to get full buff. I doubt any build scaling hit and dot is going to hit that hard. Now, to hit hard enough that it's better than the next best support? Not sure, dots...

There are still plenty of ways to clear just as fast. Projectiles, especially when supplemented but not depending upon explosions, can clear faster. My plans are flame wall kinetic blast. Transition into worm blaster(that I fully expect nerfed tomorrow).
