I played the last time in Aug last year. The game fills the same ARPG itch that D3 does for me. Play for 2-3 days, get bored and move on. I do love the aesthetic though. If Last Epoch + Wolcen artists could combine I'd be down.

If you keep up your gear to not get 1 shot you basically won't cart at all if experienced and not dicking around tbh. Not neccessarily a bad thing though as it'll make the transition to learning new weapons a lot less painful. About to hit HR50 and finished my hammer set for the time being...

Nah it's just an ability without any sort of consumable. Like 2nd or 3rd in the action bar. Only thing that's annoying is forgetting to hit it before I take out my weapon =D

I got like 500k at HR6. Selling off cash drops, pelico gathering/pilfering and looting a gold egg every 5 hunts etc. Probably have another couple hundred k in low rank parts that aren't needed too that I'll sell eventually. I am methodically doing every hunt/quest though which probably helps.

You can, but it shouldn't need it if you are running a modern OS. It should connect automatically wirelessly or at worst buy a $10-15 dongle which hasn't mattered since xbox one or earlier afaik.

From brief glance at the reddit sub it seems that the monster riding is OP as shit and removes the threat of fighting multiple monsters as it's just a welcome DPS addition.
