Honestly I think I'm more worried about buying a new PC, and then not being able to upgrade the thing because all the new shit uses new sockets and ports and direct x. That's mostly what happened to me.

I never really cared about max settings much. If I could get 6 years of a decent frame rate at not max settings, I'd be happy. I just know that if I buy a PC with 8 gigs of RAM, suddenly everything will require 32 gigs a year later and I'll be pissed.

Yeah, but with how long consoles are out these days (like 7 years?), I want to try to make sure it can last around 6 or so. I'm not talking about running stuff at max settings, I just want to make sure my computer isn't shitting itself in like 2 years.

I'm aware, but I'm waiting a bit longer. One time I upgraded during a console transition and suddenly there were multi-core processors and shit. Waiting to see if PC specs are about to take a huge jump again before upgrading, then I'll make a $700 or so machine. Never making another $1500...

Signed up for beta. Don't even meet the minimum specs, but fuck it, it doesn't look that intensive.

The thing is, that all depends on where you live. I've had internet outages that have lasted two days. I know a lot of people that have satellite internet (this is the south) and this would fuck them royally. Hell, I know people who DON'T have internet. They come into my store all of the time...

I don't like the idea of shit off loading to a cloud. What happens if that cloud goes down? Does my game simply not work? That's fucking retarded right there.

I think I might just get a new PC this generation and have my Wii U for my Nintendo fix. That and I have my 3DS which has really kicked up lately. Just don't see the point when I'm on my PC like 90% of the time anyway. PS4 in a few years will be tempting, though, simply for Naughty Dog games.

Yeah, but the thing is, after the block is over, you're left with a bunch of cards no one wants anymore. Hell, I don't even know anyone who plays unlimited in Magic.

I'm still kind of bothered by blocks. I hope they do more stuff with older blocks other than legacy. Maybe throwback tournaments and stuff.

Well, they're bringing back blocks. Was never a fan of blocks. Having my cards valuable, then useless later on is pretty annoying.

It seems like PVE can net you new Mercenaries for PVP, so that's pretty cool actually. Gives me a reason to PVE. I'd love to see crazy tournaments. Like maybe one that uses just uncommon and common cards, no rares allowed. Or maybe a tournament where both players bet a card from their deck...

I see, so I suppose there is a reason for PVErs to PVP (for PVP cards). Can you get PVP cards just from PVPing?

Well, the thing is, because there won't be grouping in dungeons, and raids are only you + 2, I don't really see why you'd go for that over PVP. Maybe it's because I haven't played a PVE TCG before, but I just don't get it. Will there be any real reason for PVP players to play PVE and vice versa...

The PVE seems neat, but I think most people are going to go for PVP. I mean, that's what TCGs are about most of the time. Though, from what I can see, raids are just PVE with two people coming along with you. I'm assuming dungeons will just be single player, which kind of sucks but I'll probably...

Agreed. I might be able to make Knight tier. Kind of sucks, though, I'd probably go much further if I had the money. Working for minimum wage sucks.

So, did they ever talk about how dungeons and raids will work? I'm pretty curious and excited about that. And I agree with what was said here. They're going to have to add an auction house or something, or some seriously shady places will pop up.

Dropped $20, might drop more later. Also would be down for joining a FOH guild on this. Do we know what they're going to charge for packs and decks? I always hoped that a game like this would have .99 cent packs or something, but I'm not holding my breath here.
