For eureka you have to max your relic in each zone to open the next zone. Once you unlock the last zone uou can stop doing the weapon and you can buy the glow armor
oof, that isnt' going to be smooth.
I definately think the ARR+tween content is a bit too long, but they slowly ease you into using your skills and learning the mechanics in fights.
rich campbel been doing the slow story progress through MSQ and he just did Susano the other day. he said...
folks gripe that it's slow, because they drip feed you skills till 50. the GCD is longer than wow. and you don't start getting sets of off GCD abilities for most classes t ill the 50's, so it's easy to try, say its slow, and quit.
Nothing. Thst is how you do it. But you have to get the total bits from each zone. The boss items, and some times light in your kettle.
Armor too. But you have to build from zone 1 2 3 4 to finishe each time.
Bonus helpful is thst once you unlock all your logograms and enough kit to play...
I have feelings about eureka. the bottom line is that it's a lot to 'learn' but the general gist of it is just that it has it's own elemental level, which effectively makes your character 'that level' and you have to grind back up to max in eureka. in each zone you have to do a certain number of...
edited my first post. I ran it through a word processor and busted out race/class correctly and fixed a few other stupid mistakes in this post. it can paste over. I'll leave it be for a while after that :) Thank you @Amod ! you guys are awesome. vote secured.
hah. fair criticism on the caps. I'll uhh. fix that when i ask for an edit.
and...oh shit I didn't mean for race class to be a subsection of the trial. I have failed as a forum poster for nesting things retarded. i'll update that.
Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it.
That makes sense, I dig.
I wouldn't mind if something like (2021 Guide on first post) so people know it's not...heh, 9 years old.
Hopefully the info is helpful!
@Amod I set this post up to be a replacement for the first post so we can reference the links on it. can my post be moved to the first for easy editing? or is it just a copy/paste job?
anyway i think that's a pretty good generic guide for questions folks have been asking. If anyone wants to add...
IMO yes, if you are about the level of the MSQ, keep going, if you are outleveling it, start a second class and swap turn ins. most folk do a tank or healer for fast roullete, but hte lazy way is to just alt level the class that uses the same gear as your main. you can just swap alt class to do...
the good news is that you can currently play with anyone in your datacenter, but they're going to make it where you can cross-server-play with anyone in any datacenter, so that's pretty hype. folks don't have to transfer servers later to play with homies from time to time.
You're basically doing it right.
Do your job quests every time they pop (under the MSQheadding on your UI)
do your MSQ
when you get your chocobo, you can summon him to fight with you, make sure to spend his XPin a way that compliments your class (mostly with healing and dps skills).
unlock...
Don't sweat wrong first class. At level 10 you can swap around. Your non highest level class gets a huge xp boost. A hunt log and a few quests later you will be 10. And can pick up where you were. Rogue is pretty fun if you want early available melee dps. Dragoon is popular but the stereotype...
server doesn't matter as much as datacenter. most FoH play on gilgamesh. i think asmongold plays on cactaur. not sure wehre other streamers play. you can 'group or travel ' to any server on your data center at will to play with homies.

that's excellent advice. the start SUUUCKS if you're alone. the glow glow armor from eureka looks dope as hell though. and some of the weapons look amazing.
Put all your elemental points on one spoke of the wheel. click it to rotate it based on the element. if you're a tank, turn to the 'toughest' against hte element. if you're a DPS turn to the most damaging. do that forever. if you supermax eureka you can have maxed out one spoke, and then...
i mean...you could play ff14 through steam via steam link on your phone and a bluetooth controller if your'e feeling froggy.
I'm sure it would look like a blurry asshole though.
Hmm at launch 2.0 was....okay but formulaic, but whatever years heavensward came out, I loved it. Its been up and down since then. But it hit a nice stride in year 2.5ish? Tho it was/is drowning in weebery
