Absolutely. Anyone can play and enjoy POE at some level. If your goal is to kill Uber elder you need to play a lot differently. People with experience think that if you don't get that fear in a league it's a waste of time and maybe it is to them.

If you're just there for a day at least go to the Texas Capitol as it is pretty cool. Barton Springs Pool in the middle of downtown (also next to Terry Black's BBQ) you can knock out some of the big things with a swiftness. Downtown Austin is very small, all told, when compared to most metros.
