See, you kids have a very, very different definition of "smooth" than I do. Anything less than 60 is no longer smooth in my book, and anything below 30 is downright unplayable.

That's really the only issue I have with it. This game is a case study in not releasing at a 60$ price point. Much like Titanfall, Battlefront, etc, there just isn't enough there to justify the price tag for a multiplayer only game. If they had launched this at 30$ it would have sold like crazy.

Yea he's full of shit. My old 980 couldn't even maintain 60fps on ultra at 1080p in Witcher 3. Unless his idea of "silky smooth" is a nice cinematic 24fps.

Negative, my upgraded PC from 8>10 had no network driver issues. May be specific to your nic? Manufacturer have any 10 supported drivers out to try a clean install with?

I just built an entirely new PC, installed 10 without entering a product key, then entered my old 8.1 product key that I had used on my previous computer for the free update and it activated instantly, no calling or anything of the sort.

If anyone is still curious you can totally activate Windows 10 on a clean install using your old Windows 8 product key. Just installed clean on a new drive and skipped adding a key during setup and it activated fine once online using my old key, no phone support etc required.

120-144hz monitor is as big a difference in gaming as going from a platter to a ssd was imo. It may sound silly but I seriously could never live without 120hz minimum at this point.
